  • Patent number: 11949331
Abstract: The present document describes a power converter configured to convert electrical power at an input voltage at an input of the power converter to electrical power at an output voltage at an output of the power converter. The power converter comprises a first upper capacitor and a first lower capacitor, which are coupled with one another via a first mid node; a second upper capacitor and a second lower capacitor, which are coupled with one another via a second mid node; an inductor; and a set of power switches. In addition, the power converter comprises a control unit which is configured to control the set of power switches such that during an operation cycle the power converter is operated in a first main state and in a second main state in a mutually exclusive manner.

  • Patent number: 11922527
Abstract: A system may include a first computing system that may include at least one processor. The at least one processor may receive a request for identification information associated with a user of the first computing device, such that the request is received from a second computing device. The at least one processor may then receive information regarding an entity associated with the second computing device, retrieve data comprising the identification information from a storage component, generate additional data comprising a portion of the identification information based on the information regarding the entity, and send the additional data to the second computing device.

  • Patent number: 10181792
Abstract: A synchronous buck converter is provided in which a replica transistor has its drain coupled to a drain of the low-side switch transistor. A current sensing amplifier drives a scaled current into the replica transistor such that the drain-to-source voltage of the replica transistor substantially equals the drain-to-source voltage of the low-side switch. The replica transistor is much smaller than the low switch transistor such that the replica transistor's on resistance is higher by a scale factor Kf as compared to the on resistance for the low-side switch transistor.

  • Patent number: 9166442
Abstract: A system includes a voltage regulator module, a voltage comparator module, and a current limiting module. The voltage regulator module regulates an input voltage supplied by a power supply and supplies an output current to a load. The voltage comparator module compares the input voltage to a first threshold. The current limiting module decreases the output current when the input voltage decreases to less than or equal to the first threshold, decreases the output current until the input voltage increases to greater than the first threshold, and decreases the output current by an additional predetermined amount after the input voltage increases to greater than the first threshold.
