  • Patent number: 9282780
Abstract: An article of footwear for a prosthesis is provided and may include an upper, an outsole attached to the upper, and a midsole disposed between the upper and the outsole. The article of footwear may also include a cavity having a first portion defined between the upper and the midsole that receives the prosthesis when the prosthesis is inserted into the article of footwear and a second portion having a constant dimension between the upper and the midsole along the length of the second portion. The second portion may extend in a direction substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the midsole and may receive a distal end of the prosthesis when the prosthesis is fully inserted into the article of footwear.

The midsole includes a platform and a lattice integrally formed with the platform. The platform has a toe portion, a heel portion, a medial portion, and a lateral portion arranged to align with the user's foot. The lattice extends from the platform and includes a plurality of crisscrossing laths. Each lath has a longitudinal structure with a longitudinal axis and two ends. The laths are positioned in at least a first zone and a second zone in the lattice, and each lath in the first zone has a girth that is substantially different from a girth of each lath in the second zone.

  • Publication number: 20110145117
Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatuses are described for credit default swap (CDS) settlement pricing. The method includes receiving at least quoted prices and/or executed prices, and using them to calculate a settlement price of CDSs in a portfolio. The calculation of the settlement price may also consider other information, such as recovery rate, hazard rate function, etc. The invention also may include an electronic trading platform that is fully integrated with a central counterparty clearing facility for CDSs.

  • Publication number: 20090248564
Abstract: Methods are provided to determine a settlement price for an over-the-counter exchange traded financial instrument. The method includes receiving swap curves from a plurality of market makers and identifying missing data points in the curves. A repair mode may be determined for curves identified as missing data. The curves may be repaired based on the determined repair mode. The selected curves including the repaired curves may be blended together to derive a final settlement prices for each of a plurality of standardized centrally cleared swaps. The financial instruments may include Euro denominated interest rate swaps, U.S. denominated interest rate swaps, or OIS interest rate swaps.

  • Patent number: 7430819
Abstract: An article of footwear has selectively height adjustable cleat members provided on a sole. A cleat member provided in a unit engaged with or otherwise attached to the sole. The cleat member may have a portion which extends outwardly from the sole that is positionable at one of a plurality of predetermined positions relative to the sole and includes a biasing to at least one of the predetermined positions. A cleat may include a coupling engaged with the sole and a tip that is selectively extendable and retractable via a linear movement and rotational movement relative to a remainder of a cleat so as to present a selectively variable height. The sole may include a plurality of cleats in which the cleats include a gyre-linear cleat portion adjustably positionable to lock relative to the remainder of its respective cleat between a plurality of predetermined heights. In aspect, the predetermined heights correspond to locking positions.

  • Publication number: 20070137067
Abstract: A set of shoes for use by members of a team. The shoes allow for a uniform appearance in a team environment while providing an individualized sole unit. The shoes of the set have matched uppers and differing sole designs. The sole designs may differ based on cushioning type used in the midsole or may differ based on the outsole of the shoe. The matched upper, which may be color matched, provides a uniform appearance for the team. The individualized sole of each shoe takes into account comfort, performance and/or safety preferences for each player.

  • Publication number: 20070084081
Abstract: An article of footwear is disclosed that has a sole structure with a sole element and a coupling. The sole element is spaced from a remainder of the footwear to define a space between a portion of the sole element and the remainder of the footwear. The coupling extends upward from the sole element to join the sole element with the remainder of the footwear. The coupling is spaced from the periphery of the sole element, and the coupling is the only attachment point between the sole element and the remainder of the footwear. In operation, the coupling permits the sole element to pivot in relation to the remainder of the footwear.
