  • Publication number: 20170305553
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a grey water flush system for use with vacuum toilets. One embodiment of the system provides a two-stage flush that uses a transient tank in between the toilet bowl and the main aircraft waste tank, which reduces the noise level associated with the flush process because a lesser vacuum is demanded for the first stage of the flush. Embodiments of the system further capture grey water from a sink basin in a reservoir and use that water in the toilet flush process. There is further provided a lavatory odor removal system option that is activated during the second stage of the flush.

  • Publication number: 20170276624
Abstract: A smart electrochemical processing apparatus includes a reaction container, an electrode unit and a surface feature scanner. The reaction container has an electrolytic tank. The electrode unit has a first electrode fixed to the electrolytic tank and a second electrode rotatably positioned at the electrolytic tank. The surface feature scanner is positioned at the electrolytic tank. Before being put in the electrolytic tank for processing, a workpiece positioned at the second electrode is scanned with the surface feature scanner while being rotated by the second electrode. After surface feature data of the workpiece have been collected, various process parameters can be adjusted to thereby achieve satisfactory surface treatment of the workpiece.

  • Publication number: 20170256418
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for lithography patterning. The method includes providing a substrate, forming a deposition enhancement layer (DEL) over the substrate, and flowing an organic gas near a surface of the DEL. During the flowing of the organic gas, the method further includes irradiating the DEL and the organic gas with a patterned radiation. Elements of the organic gas polymerize upon the patterned radiation, thereby forming a resist pattern over the DEL. The method further includes etching the DEL with the resist pattern as an etch mask, thereby forming a patterned DEL.

  • Patent number: 9650301
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for synthesis of a porous solid oxide matrix. The method includes synthesizing a composite by co-precipitating a porous ceramic material with a sacrificial material. The composite is sintered and the sacrificial material of the sintered composite is reduced. A porous solid oxide matrix is formed from the reduced and sintered composite. Porosity of the solid oxide matrix is controlled by a volume fraction of the sacrificial material or sintering temperature and a volume fraction of the sacrificial material. Pore size of the solid oxide matrix is controlled by sintering temperature and a volume fraction of the sacrificial material.

  • Patent number: 9540107
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system to direct water flow through a lavatory and to cleanse grey water through a series of treatment steps. The water may then be re-directed to the faucet for re-use in hand washing or other potable water use or to the toilet for flush water. The treatment steps are altered, depending upon the ultimate use of the water, as flush water need not be treated to the same level as potable water. The system may also function via a cascade of logic commands given by a series of electronic controllers, valves, and sensors which are fine-tuned to supply enough water to each component of the system.
