  • Publication number: 20180137782
Abstract: In the field of virtual reality, virtual tool manipulation systems and related methods and software are described in the present disclosure. One implementation of a virtual tool manipulation system, among others, comprises a motion tracking system configured to generate motion information related to the position of a part of a user's body. The virtual tool manipulation system also comprises a haptic feedback system configured to provide a haptic sensation to the user based on the motion information, the position of a virtual tool, and characteristics of the virtual tool.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 22, 2017
    Publication date: May 17, 2018
Inventors: Christopher J. ULLRICH, Kevin J. KUNKLER

  • Publication number: 20090129935
Abstract: A building sprinkler system includes a pump that feeds a plurality of sprinkler heads. A driver is operatively connected to the pump for driving the pump. A speed control is responsive to suction pressure at a suction side of the pump. The speed control is configured to reduce driver speed when the suction pressure falls below a set threshold pressure value to maintain the suction pressure above the set threshold pressure value.

  • Patent number: 7255539
Abstract: A sprinkler system for building includes an internal combustion engine which operates a water pump. The water pump in turn forces water through pipes to sprinkler heads. The engine is at least in part controlled by a throttle control mechanism which includes a spring biased piston which is moved in response to the output pressure of the pump. This prevents the pump from exceeding the rated pressure of the system components.
