Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle drivetrain includes de-energizing a clutch that connects a differential output to a wheel, rotating said component through a sump by pulsing the clutch when a speed of a differential component is less than a reference speed, and cyclically pulsing the clutch while a speed of said component exceeds the reference speed and a count of a timer, started when the clutch is de-energized, exceeds a reference count.

The technique further includes logic for applying a rebate, based on the rebate information, to fund at least part of a transaction performed by an brokerage service. In one embodiment, the brokerage service charges a fee to perform the transaction. In this case, the rebate is used to fund at least part of the transaction fee. The rebate therefore entitles the cardholder to perform a transaction free of charge. The rebate thus is converted to one or more “free transactions,” and in a more specific application, one or more “free trades.

Abstract: An archery broadhead (10) for mourning to an arrow shaft includes a ferrule (16), a plurality of replaceable blade elements (18) supported by and extending from the ferrule, an engaging bar 22 and a tip (20) mounted to the ferrule opposite the arrow shaft. The ferrule defines a centrally located cavity (48) and a plurality of ferrule slots (60) extending longitudinally along the ferrule and communicating with the blade elements. The blade elements are supported by the ferrule by engaging the blade elements within the ferrule slots and disposing the securing flanges of each within the ferrule cavity. The engaging bar is inserted within the ferrule cavity and disposed in engagement with the blade elements substantially along the length of the securing flanges of the blade elements to discourage movement of the blade elements with respect to the ferrule slots. The tip is secured to the ferrule to discourage axial movement of the blade elements with respect to the slots.

A handle causes rotation of the shaft member and sight mount such that the sight mount moves from a position where its axis is parallel to the axis of the gun barrel to a position where its axis is pointing downward and outward from the direction of the axis of the gun barrel to a point selected for the desired range whence the sight is then aimed at the target which action then elevates the gun barrel for the correct range and offsets the gun barrel from the target to adjust for the projectile's drift in order to aim the projectile accurately to hit the target.
