  • Publication number: 20240117644
Abstract: An adjustable toe board that is capable of adjustment to a number of varying lengths to accommodate various platform sizing. An exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a locking mechanism for use with the adjustable toe board to retain the toe board in its retracted position when necessary for transport, storage, or when the size of the portion of the platform the toe board will be used in requires the toe board to be in its fully collapsible state. A uniquely shaped wedge pin may be utilized to accommodate various sizes of posts when connecting a non-adjustable or an adjustable toe board to scaffolds and the like.

  • Patent number: 11859397
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a locking mechanism for use with the adjustable toe board to retain the toe board in its retracted position when necessary for transport, storage, or when the size of the portion of the platform the toe board will be used in requires the toe board to be in its fully collapsible state. The locking mechanism may be comprised of a latching member that is capable of automatic locking when the adjustable toe board is moved into its substantially retracted position. Further, the instant invention may be provided in any number of varying adjustable lengths to accommodate the various platform sizing through the use of a uniquely shaped wedge pin that is used with a fork to couple adjustable or non-adjustable toe boards to scaffolds and the like.

  • Publication number: 20230074662
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a first end section comprising a ladder section couple to a leg section by a horizontal extension coupling member, wherein the horizontal extension coupling member is in varying lengths to allow control over the width of the completed scaffold 10. Alternatively, the scaffold first end section may be coupled without the use of a horizontal extension coupling member. A completed scaffold may be accomplished by completing a first end section and a second end section and coupling the two with a cross-brass member that has been completed with the use of two loose brace members. Further completed scaffolds may be stacked upon each other. Planks or platforms may be utilized with the exemplary embodiments. Various kits are provided that provide for a full scaffold of varying widths. Kits may also contain additional materials such as planks, platforms, or additional horizontal extension coupling members to allow for a variety of widths of the finished scaffold.

  • Patent number: 11519224
Abstract: A rapid release and rapid install latching member for use with ladder cages to couple the cage rings is provided wherein the latching members are capable of retaining the cage ring connecting members thereon without the use of external fasteners. The latching members are designed such that they may be removed from or installed on the ladder cage while the ladder cage is installed at the work site or otherwise for quick and easy repair or replacement. An exemplary ladder cage contains a plurality of ring members having a plurality of latching members interspaced around the circumference thereof, with adjacent ring members being coupled to each other through the interaction of cage ring connecting members with the latching members.
