  • Patent number: 11711343
Abstract: Web-filtering operations may be implemented on the user device, rather than on a centralized proxy server, to improve reliability, performance, and/or security of the web-filtering operations. Some or all of the necessary functions related to web-filtering may be performed on the end user device to remove the complexity and security issues inherent with the current methodology. One technique for allowing operation of proxy servers on user devices is to install smart agents on the user device. The smart agents, under control of a management server, may configure the proxy server, issue trust certificates to applications on the device, and/or provide proxy access configuration (PAC) files to applications on the device.

  • Publication number: 20220369973
Abstract: Methods and systems for assessing autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are described herein. Data identifying one or more behaviors associated with ASD may be received. A scenario specifying a plurality of different tasks may be received. An extended reality (XR) device may present and XR environment to a subject. The XR device may present, in the XR environment, a first task of the plurality of different tasks. Based on a subject interaction with one or more objects in the XR environment, interaction data may be calculated. Based on the interaction data, at least one second task may be selected from the plurality of different tasks. The at least one second task may be configured to train a different skill as compared to the first task. The XR environment may be modified to present the second task.

  • Publication number: 20210029220
Abstract: A proxy, such as a proxy server or proxy server application executed on a user device may inject code into web content for execution by a web browser. The injected code may perform functions such as tracking and reporting interaction with the web content and browser-level filtering of the web content. The web browser may execute the injected code to track and report user interaction with the web content and to filter web content delivered to the web browser.

  • Patent number: 10145551
Abstract: An LED lamp employing active cooling chambers is presented. The lamp features a housing having two active cooling chambers. One chamber, i.e. the first or cold chamber, contains an LED driver and one or more cooling fans, while the second chamber, i.e. the hot chamber, contains one or more LED modules secured to a heat sink. Fluid (air) communication between the two chambers is controlled by the one or more cooling fans. In operation, the fans draw ambient cooling air inside the cold chamber via air intake openings in the housing. The cooling air is then forced through a plurality of heat sink fins and heat transfer channels and exhausted from air exhaust openings in the housing.

  • Patent number: 9846413
Abstract: A safety shut-off system and method are provided for eliminating power to a load in the event of smoke detection. The system may comprise a device located at the appliance for detecting a signal from a smoke detector, and cutting power to the appliance only when the appliance is in use. The device may be synchronized with any standard smoke alarm signal to reduce the number of false positive shut-offs. The system may also comprise a smoke alarm hard-wired to a circuit breaker, for shutting off power to all appliances on a particular breaker upon receipt of a signal from the smoke alarm, and only when the appliances on the breaker are in use. The system may also have the ability to shut off one breaker, multiple breakers, or all breakers at different time increments to actively prevent and reduce the damages caused by fires.
