  • Patent number: 7622389
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device including selective conductive contacts includes the step of depositing a resist over first and second memory device components, each of the first and second components comprising junctions formed in the substrate and a gate formed on the substrate between the junctions. The resist is then removed from the second components to thereby form a resist opening above each of the second component control gates and junctions. The resist is then etched to thereby expose each of the first component control gates but not the substrate surrounding the first component control gates. Conductive contacts are then formed on the exposed first component control gates, and the second component control gates and junctions.

  • Publication number: 20070165605
Abstract: A SIP Gateway (SIPGW) coupled to an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is disclosed that detects when a first party, using a Plain Ordinary Telephone Service (POTS) telephone coupled to the SIPGW and participating in a call, performs a hook flash action. In response, the SIPGW sends to the IMS a first SIP INFO message indicating that the POTS telephone has performed the hook flash. In response to a first SIP INFO message indicating that a first party has performed a first hook flash, an Application Server (AS) in an IMS places on hold a second party participating in the call. The AS may also cause a Media Server to receive information from the first party identifying a call feature to be provided, where the call feature is one of simple call hold, consultation call hold, attended call transfer and unattended call transfer.

  • Publication number: 20070092969
Abstract: The effectiveness of an oxidative sterilization process is determined by exposing a known amount of a primary amine or aldehyde indicator chemical to an oxidative germicide. The oxidative germicide reacts with the indicator chemical. The amount of indicator chemical remaining after exposure to the germicide is determined by reacting the indicator chemical with a dye precursor chemical to form a colored product. The amount of indicator chemical remaining is determined from the intensity of the color of the colored product. The amount of indicator chemical remaining on the substrate is a measure of the effectiveness of the germicidal treatment. The dye precursor is an aldehyde when the indicator chemical is a primary amine and a primary amine when the indicator chemical is an aldehyde. An integrator for determining the effectiveness of the germicidal process includes an indicator chemical, where the indicator chemical is a primary amine or an aldehyde.

  • Publication number: 20070003995
Abstract: A device and a method for rapidly determining the effectiveness of sterilization or disinfection processes are provided. The method involves contacting a biological indicator containing a known number of live spores to a sterilization or disinfection process. When the spores are killed, the minerals in the spores are released. Water is contacted with the dead spores to form an aqueous solution. A parameter related to the concentration of a mineral in the aqueous solution is measured. The effectiveness of the germicidal process is determined from the parameter and the initial number of spores in the biological indicator. Measuring the parameter by measuring the conductivity of the aqueous solution is particularly effective and sensitive.

  • Patent number: 6620670
Abstract: A semiconductor processing chamber has been utilized to perform sequential deposition of high-K Al2O3 thin films on a substrate disposed in the chamber employing low viscosity precursors. The method commences with introduction of an aluminum precursor into the processing chamber. In this manner, a monolayer of aluminum precursor is chemisorbed onto the substrate surface. Thereafter, non-chemisorbed aluminum precursor is purged from the processing chamber, followed by introduction of an oxygen precursor. The oxygen precursor reacts with the chemisorbed layer, resulting in a monolayer of Al2O3. Finally, excess oxygen precursor and by-products of the reaction are purged completing the sequential deposition cycle. The sequential deposition cycle can be repeated to grow the Al2O3 film to a desired thickness.
