  • Patent number: 8820915
Abstract: A receiver supply media cassette adapted to hold cut sheet media and for permitting an imaging apparatus to form images on both sides of the cut sheet media, comprising a media tray including a cut sheet receiving well having at least two side walls, and a ramp disposed between the two side walls and a removable media receptacle adapted to fit inside the cut sheet receiving well of the media tray including a first compartment adapted to hold cut sheet media to be fed to the imaging apparatus, a second compartment adapted to receive cut sheet media from the imaging apparatus, wherein the removable media receptacle is flipped inside the cut sheet receiving well of the media tray after images have been formed on a first side of the cut sheet media so that images can be formed on a second side of the cut sheet media.

  • Patent number: 8585034
Abstract: A method for handling cut sheet media in a receiver supply media cassette comprising providing a media tray with a removable media receptacle in the receiver supply media cassette. The media tray is attached to the imaging apparatus to feed the cut sheet media from a first compartment of the removable media receptacle to the imaging apparatus to print a first image on a first side of the fed cut sheet media and receive the printed cut sheet media from the imaging apparatus into a second compartment of the removable media receptacle. The removable media receptacle is flipped the cut sheet media is fed to the imaging apparatus to print a second image on a second side of the fed cut sheet media. The method further includes receiving the printed cut sheet media from the imaging apparatus into the first compartment of the removable media receptacle.

  • Patent number: 5259632
Abstract: A skateboard, adapted for use on ice, utilizes a blade assembly comprised of a bushing member, a blade member and a body member. The bushing member has an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface defining an aperture adapted to receive the skateboard axle. The blade member has finished edges and substantially parallel faces. The body member is made of fiberglass or high strength plastic compounds and is formed such that it holes the blade member and the bushing member in a fixed relationship to one another. The body member encases a portion of the outer surface of the bushing member, allowing the bushing member to receive the axle without substantial interference. The body member also encases a portion of the substantially parallel lateral faces of the blade member, leaving a portion of the blade member exposed for contact with the ice.

  • Patent number: 5101478
Abstract: An I/O structure for use in a digital data processing system of the type in which system components including a processor and a system memory are connected by a system bus. The I/O structure includes a system bus interface connected to the system bus, a synchronous satellite processing unit (SPU) bus connected to the system bus interface, one or more satellite processing units (SPUs) connected to the SPU bus, and peripheral devices attached to the satellite processing units. Each SPU has three main components: control logic including a microprocessor for controlling the SPU, a device adapter specific to the peripheral device for controlling the peripheral device and transferring data between the peripheral device and the SPU, and an interface unit connected to the control logic and the device adapter for providing I/O communications to the SPU bus and responding to I/O communications on the SPU bus. The I/O communications fall into two classes: communications to SPUs and communications to system components.
