  • Patent number: 10191075
Abstract: An apparatus to detect a direction or velocity of a movement of equipment by using a single sensor. The apparatus includes a conversion unit that converts sensed information obtained from the single sensor into a voltage value corresponding to the movement of the equipment, a determination unit that determines whether one of a first interrupt and a second interrupt occurs, the first interrupt occurring when the converted voltage value reaches a threshold value and the second interrupt occurring when a preset amount of time passes from a time when the single sensor starts operating, and a calculation unit that calculates one of the direction and the velocity of the movement of the equipment by using voltage information at time s when the first interrupt or the second interrupt occurs and voltage information at a predetermined time before the times when the first interrupt or the second interrupt occurs.

  • Patent number: 9288477
Abstract: A light path adjustment apparatus includes: a support plate with a first through hole through which light passes; a plurality of optical units, including first and second optical units, that move between an open location where the first through hole is opened by the optical units moving toward an outside of the first through hole and a closing location where the first through hole is divided into a plurality of regions by the plurality of optical units moving toward the first through hole and blocking at least a part of the light; and a rotation plate that has a second through hole corresponding to the first through hole and is rotatably disposed with respect to the support plate. The first and second optical units correspond to first and second regions of the first through hole, respectively, and are coupled to the support plate and the rotation plate, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20140028893
Abstract: Disclosed herein are an image capturing apparatus and a method of controlling the same, by which images may be captured without direct contact with a main body of the image capturing apparatus and without purchasing and carrying an additional remote controller. The method of controlling the image capturing apparatus includes generating a first detection signal and a second detection signal in response to motion of an object within a detection region of an ocular sensor, controlling a focusing module to bring a subject into focus in response to the generation of the first detection signal, and controlling a shutter and an imaging device to capture an image of the subject in response to the generation of the second detection signal.
