  • Publication number: 20220390578
Abstract: The present invention relates to a coherent detection array and methods of multiplexing for signal readout of the coherent detection array. The coherent detection array may be implemented on a photonic integrated circuit (PIC). It may comprise a plurality of coherent detection units coupling with connecting waveguides and electrical conducting paths, wherein the electrical conducting paths may manifest as readout channels for multiplexing electrical signals. The detection units may be configured to include free-space-to-waveguide couplers, optical couplers, and photodetectors. The coherent detection array enables multiplexing methods that may leverage extra degrees of freedom of the coherent detection array. These methods may include those enabled by the local oscillator and those related to the properties and responses of the components of the PIC-based detection array.

  • Patent number: 8890535
Abstract: A power supply aging system and a load balance control method. The power supply aging system includes: a system share supply unit (201) for producing a DC voltage for the need of the system constant current balance, a renewable load unit (202) for converting a low DC voltage outputted by a unit under test (200) to a high DC voltage, a DC to AC converting unit (203) for converting the high DC voltage to the AC voltage needed by the unit under test. The AC voltage is transmitted to the unit under test through a renewable AC bus. The system does not need any isolation transformer or the authorization from power supplying enterprises. The system can balance the DC load sharing, reduce the cost, improve the efficiency of electrical energy feedback and reduce the energy waste.

  • Publication number: 20050071244
Abstract: An integrated shipping scheme enables users of a third-party payment service to facilitate shipment of packages via a shipping vendor. Web pages corresponding to a web site hosted by the third-party payment service enable a sender to enter ship to: information, while ship from: information may be automatically gathered or manually entered by the sender. The sender is also enabled to enter shipment options, such as package size and weight. Corresponding shipping information is generated and sent “behind the scenes” to a selected shipping vendor. The shipping vendor processes the shipping information, and returns shipment data, including data to generate a shipping label. A web page containing the shipping label is then generated and served to a client operated by the sender, enabling the shipping label to be printed out.
