Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for the defragmentation of a file system with little or no free space. Defragmenting file fragments in a memory file system comprises determining a defragmentation sequence for re-ordering fragments of files in the file system; determining if at least one fragment in the file system is moved more than once in the defragmentation sequence; removing the at least one fragment from the file system if it is moved more than once in the sequence; determining the defragmentation sequence without considering the at least one removed file fragment; rearranging the remaining file fragments on the file system according to the determined defragmentation sequence; and replacing the removed file fragments in the file system after the defragmentation.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a dynamic mailing list are described. The method includes creating a calendar event and creating a dynamic mailing list with a reference to the event. Clients are added to the dynamic mailing list in accordance with a client's status with regard to the event. Access is allowed to the dynamic mailing list by clients in accordance with a client's status with regard to the event. Access to the dynamic mailing list allows a client to send a message to the clients on the dynamic mailing list. A message addressed to the dynamic mailing list is received and forwarded to the clients on the dynamic mailing list. The method and system also include storing messages sent to clients on the dynamic mailing list and sending stored messages to a client added to the dynamic mailing list after the stored messages have been originally sent.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method, apparatus, or computer program for conversation annotation for instant messaging systems. The instant messaging method comprises: providing a graphical user interface; determining a selection of two or more existing messages; creating, on an instruction from the GUI, a relationship between the selected messages; and indicating, using links or edges on between the messages, the relationship between the messages. All related messages may be selected with a single selection and printed, stored, or deleted as a batch.

Abstract: The present invention provides peptides and compounds which inhibit the enzyme activity of Type II phospholipases A.sub.2. The preferred compounds are pentapeptides. Where the phospholipase is human Type II phospholipase A.sub.2 the preferred peptides are FLSYK and KFLSY.
