  • Publication number: 20110290849
Abstract: A refill for staples, which can not be removed from a cartridge unless all sheet-type connected staples in a stapler body are delivered. A refill for staples is installed in a detachable manner in a stapler body, and includes a refill body which holds the sheet-type connected staples, and a pressing member which presses the sheet-type connected staples. A delivery port delivering the sheet-type connected staples and a locking plate provided with a locking section which locks a locked section in the stapler body are formed in the refill body. When the sheet-type connected staples are pressed, the pressing member is engaged with the locking plate not to allow rotation of the locking plate, and, when the sheet-type connected staples are not pressed, the pressing member is disengaged from the locking plate to allow rotation of the locking plate. Thereby, the locking section of the locking plate can be removed from the locked section in the stapler body.

  • Patent number: 7905476
Abstract: A paper-sheet handling device comprises a clamp movement mechanism for sandwiching a bundle of paper-sheets by attaching component guide members to a position covering a portion of punch holes from the front and rear surfaces of the bundle of paper-sheets. A binding component is bound to the bundle of paper-sheets while contacting both tip portions of the binding component to the binding component guide members and sandwiching the bundle of paper-sheets by the clamp movement mechanism. Such a configuration enables both tip portions of the binding component to insert into each perforated hole while keeping a distance between both tip portions of the binding component and each of the perforated holes substantially constant and at the same time, even in the case of binding components of different diameters, the distance between the binding component and an internal circumference of each of the holes perforated in the bundle of paper-sheets is kept substantially constant.

  • Patent number: 7703650
Abstract: From top to bottom of an inner wall of a case in which stacked stapled sheets each composed of linear staples connected in parallel are accommodated, horizontal nonreturn projections are successively arranged. A nonreturn lug is attached to a staple pushing plate pushing the staple sheets by a spring, and the nonreturn lug is engaged with the nonreturn projections of the case. The nonreturn lug and the nonreturn projections are shaped to permit a descent of the staple pushing plate and inhibit an ascent thereof. In addition, a height of an apex of each of the nonreturn projections is reduced step-wise or with no step from top to bottom of the inner wall of the case.
