  • Patent number: 5083596
Abstract: A vehicle tire in which pressurized air is charged into an air tight inside of a tire together with from 5% to 95% by volume of a fluid having a specific gravity greater than that of air based on 100% by volume of the pressurized air and from 1% to 20% by weight of one or more of fine metals of metal oxide particles, uniformly dispersed in the fluid, based on 100% by weight of the fluid, the metal ingredient of the particles being selected from the group consisting of Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pb, Ba, Mg, and Mo.Water is desirable as the fluid charged in the tire, and the highly water absorbing polymer swollen with water may be used instead of water. Running stability and the braking distance of a vehicle can be improved remarkably.

  • Patent number: 4340053
Abstract: A molded body for generating an aerosol for treating athlete's foot comprised of a vegetable oil composition which is solid at room temperature. The composition may additionally contain a metal catalyst for accelerating the oxidation of the vegetable oil or an organic catalyst for retarding the progress of the oxidation of the vegetable oil. The molded body becomes molten on being heated and then generates an aerosol which treats athlete's foot. Being solid at ordinary temperatures, this aerosol generating body is easy to handle and safe for use in an athlete's foot treating apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4331137
Abstract: An apparatus for treating athlete's foot includes an inner box placed in an outer box, and having a space between the internal walls of the outer box and the external walls of the inner box. The interior of the inner box serves as an aerosol chamber. A heat source is provided in the lower part of the aerosol chamber, and an aerosol generating plate is placed thereon. An ultrasonic-wave oscillator, directed toward the interior of the aerosol chamber, is attached to the ceiling of the aerosol chamber. An exhaust port communicating with the interior of the outer box is provided in the upper part of the aerosol chamber. An exhaust filter and an exhaust fan are provided in the upper part of the outer box. A common opening through which the part affected with athlete's foot is to be inserted is provided in one side of both the outer and inner boxes. The common opening is closed with a sealing member.
