  • Patent number: 11949111
Abstract: In a lithium ion secondary battery (1), a positive electrode (2) and a negative electrode (3) are alternately adjacent to each other via separators (4) and (5). The positive electrode (2) includes a positive electrode current collector composed of a metal porous body, a first positive electrode active material (21) held on one side of the positive electrode current collector, and a second positive electrode active material (22) held on the other side. The negative electrode (3) includes a negative electrode current collector composed of a metal porous body, a first negative electrode active material (31) held on one side of the negative electrode current collector, and a second negative electrode active material (32) held on the other side. The first positive electrode active material (21) faces the first negative electrode active material (31), and the positive electrode active material (22) faces the second negative electrode active material (32).

  • Patent number: 5115403
Abstract: A workability detection method for a workpiece consisting of the steps of cutting a workpiece, based on specified cutting conditions, detecting the cutting resistance during the cutting operation, or the cutting time or the amount of tool wear to make a cut up to a specified position of the workpiece, or the feeding position of the cutting tool on a workpiece or the amount of processing of the cutting tool after a specified cutting time and comparing the detected data with corresponding data which is stored in a data base.

  • Patent number: 4728692
Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer composition and process comprising a crystalline polyolefin, halogenated butyl rubber, olefin copolymer rubber, polyolefin modified with, e.g., maleic anhydride, and, optionally nitrile rubber, wherein the halogenated butyl rubber is at least partially crosslinked using a metal oxide and/or chloride, e.g., zinc oxide. Crosslinking is achieved under dynamic mixing conditions and the resulting composition has superior strength, performance and processing properties. Furthermore, use of nitrile rubber imparts improved oil resistance to the composition.

  • Patent number: 4583326
Abstract: The present invention relates to an abrading machine comprising two abrading devices, a carrier member that is provided between the two abrading devices so as to be movable toward and away from them. Gripping elements are mounted on the carrier member so as to be located on opposite sides of the abrading devices to hold a workpiece to be abraded. A plurality of supporting members are also provided on the carrier member to rotatably swing up and down in order to support the workpiece as it is abraded by the different abrading devices. The gripping elements are pivotably attached to the carrier member and are designed to swing with respect to the carrier member in the direction of movement of the carrier member.

  • Patent number: 4305865
Abstract: A polyamide composition comprises (a) 50 to 99 wt. % of a polyamide; and (b) 50 to 1 wt. % of a modified polyolefin which is modified with 0.001 to 10 mole % of an adduct component selected from alicyclic carboxylic acids or functional derivatives thereof which has a cis-form double bond in the ring, which can be substituted with a nonmodified polyolefin at a ratio of 1 to 90 wt. parts per 100 wt. parts of said modified polyolefin.
