  • Patent number: 6906695
Abstract: A touch curve memory 110 stores therein a touch curve formed by velocity values corresponding to touch data generated by a keyboard device 20. A correction coefficient generator 10 generates a correction coefficient composed of a ratio of one of the velocity values stored in the touch curve memory corresponding to one of the touch data generated by the keyboard device, in a maximum touch memory mode switched by a mode switch 21 (SW1), to a maximum value of the velocity values in the touch curve memory. A corrector 10 multiplies the correction coefficient generated by the correction coefficient generator by the respective velocity values stored in the touch curve memory, and then generates a touch curve formed by new velocity values. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a touch control apparatus and a touch control method which can obtain a touch curve, from which a touch response suitable for a user can be obtained, easily and in a short time.

  • Patent number: 5670732
Abstract: A MIDI data transmitter/receiver for a MIDI instrument device which delivers MIDI data for transmitting performance information received/transmits a radio signal modulated by the MIDI data by a transmitter/receiver block connected to the MIDI instrument. The MIDI data transmitter/receiver includes a lock-type setting switch for setting initial operating conditions of the transmitter/receiver block. The control block controls the transmitter/receiver block based on the initial operating conditions set by the lock-type setting switch, when the power is turned on. In another form of the invention, data indicative of operating conditions set by the control block is stored in an electrically rewritable memory, and the control block controls the transmitter/receiver block based on the initial operating conditions set based on data of newest operating conditions stored in the memory, when the power is turned on. Other forms of the invention are also provided.

  • Patent number: 5637822
Abstract: A MIDI transmitter receives a MIDI signal from a MIDI instrument device connected thereto, modulates the MIDI signal into a radio signal, and transmits the radio signal. A MIDI receiver receives a radio signal prepared based on a MIDI signal, from a MIDI instrument device separate therefrom, demodulates the radio signal into the MIDI signal, and delivers the resulting MIDI signal to another MIDI instrument device connected thereto. A MIDI signal transmitter/receiver includes a transmitter block for receiving and modulating a MIDI signal from a MIDI instrument device connected thereto into a radio signal and transmitting the radio signal, a receiver block for receiving and demodulating a radio signal prepared based on a MIDI signal from the MIDI instrument device separate therefrom, and delivering the resulting signal to a MIDI instrument device connected thereto, and a reception/transmission changeover block for selectively permitting one of the transmitter block and the receiver block to operate.
