Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a weight measurement system capable of conveniently measuring the weight of an object being measured in real time. Particularly, in the present embodiment, a weight measurement device is formed as a structure arranged between the object being measured and a wheel. The weight measurement device comprises: an upper frame provided at the bottom of the object being measured; a lower frame provided at the top of the wheel; an elastic transformable body of which one end is connected to the upper frame and of which the other end is connected to the lower frame; and a transformation amount sensor provided to the elastic transformable body so as to sense the transformation amount of the elastic transformable body.

Abstract: A computer system uses a read only memory to store computer identifying data. The computer starts by reading the identification number recorded on a bar code and temporarily storing the data in an auxiliary memory of the computer. Then, the computer system loads the basic input/output services instructions from the read only memory and writes the instructions into the random access memory of the computer. After, the identification number, or data, that is stored in the auxiliary memory is stored in the random access memory. Then, the computer erases the data stored in the read only memory that relates to the basic input/out services. Afterwards, the computer stores both the computer identifying information and the data related to the basic input/output services into the read only memory. The stored computer identification data can also be used to provide an exclusive network address.

Abstract: A method of swapping auxiliary storage devices in a computer using a suspend mode includes the steps of: determining if a suspend mode command has been given, and, if so, determining if a specific device is mounted a bay of the computer; and setting an event flag if a specific device is mounted in the bay of the computer, and after storing an ID of the specific device, executing the suspend mode, or storing a default value if a specific device has not been mounted in the bay of the computer and executing the suspend mode. The suspend mode enables the swapping of auxiliary storage devices in the bay of the computer while maintaining the computer in an ON state and temporarily suspending all programs in use.

Abstract: A method of controlling a hard disk cache in a computer having a hard disk drive which is controlled by a write back mode disk cache that reduces the amount of hard disk access includes: initializing a disk cache control program loaded during the software booting by an operating system; determining whether insertion of a new cell in the disk cache is available if an interrupt is invoked responsive to a write request; writing data contained within all cache cells stored in the disk cache into the hard disk drive and inserting the new cell of the write request data into the disk cache if a new cache cell is not available. With this, restricting access to the hard disk drive is possible, which result in reducing power consumption of a hard disk drive motor. Further, losing of data in the cache is prevented when a sudden system power failure or reset occurs.
