    Abstract: An apparatus is provided that can be attached to a well to obtain samples of produced liquids. A vessel has an upper port, a lower port and a side port. Produced fluids enter the vessel through the side port. Natural gas associated with the produced fluids exits the vessel through the upper port, and is directed into a vapor recovery or other similar gas handling system and is not permitted to escape into the surrounding environment. Samples of produced liquids (and any accompanying solids) are obtained from the vessel through the lower port.
