  • Patent number: 9080819
Abstract: In a heat exchanger in which a number of V-shaped convex portions are arranged in parallel at a surface of a fin, one of a pair of inclined convex portions forming a V-shape is arranged to be inclined to a plus side by an angle a relative to a circulation direction of a gas at a first plane of a fin, the other is arranged to be inclined to a minus side by an angle b, and both of them are arranged by asymmetric angles in a left and right direction, and at a second plane opposed to the first plane, the angles which are asymmetric in the left and right direction are made to be reverse to those of the first plane relative to the circulation direction of the gas.

  • Patent number: 6789616
Abstract: A cylinder-type heat exchanger including cells spirally wound between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder which are concentrically arranged. Each cell includes a first plate and a second plate which are in contact with each other. The first and second plates each have several inlets and outlets arranged in parallel at opposed ends in the axial direction, with communication portions being arranged between the inlets and between the outlets. A first flow passage through which a first fluid flows is formed on the confronting sides of the first plate and the second plate, while a second flow passage through which a second fluid flows is formed on the non-confronting sides of the first plate and the second plate.

  • Publication number: 20030131978
Abstract: A cylinder-type heat exchanger comprises one or more cells 3 spirally wound between an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2 which are concentrically arranged. Each cell 3 includes a first plate 4 and a second plate 5 in pairs which are in contact with each other. The first and second plates each have a multiplicity of inlets 6 and outlets 7 arranged in parallel at opposed ends in the axial direction, with communication portions 9 being disposed between the inlets 6 and between the outlets 7. A first flow passage 10 for communication of a first fluid 10a is formed on the confronting sides of the first plate 4 and the second plate 5, whilst a second flow passage 11 for communication of a second fluid 11a is formed on the non-confronting sides thereof.

  • Patent number: 6283199
Abstract: A heat exchanger is provided with a casing (5) in which a heat exchanger core (3) is received. The core (3) is provided with a pair of inlet/outlet convex portions (1) in its opposite end portions. These pipes (1) pass through the casing (5) to project outward.

  • Patent number: 6260612
Abstract: In a “stacked” type heat exchanger having a stack of elements through the interior of which a first fluid flows and having a core support arranged at the end of the stack in the stacked direction, the core support includes slits that extend from its edges up to the central portion, the slits capable of slightly deforming when subjected to a thermal stress. It is thus possible to reduce the thermal stress which may be applied to both the core support and the elements when there arises a difference of thermal expansion therebetween.
