  • Patent number: 7136405
Abstract: A laser beam irradiation device is equipped with a very strict safety arrangement, thereby assuring that a user can use it safely. A hand-held applicator has a face formed on its top, and a push button switch on its side. The face has a spherical lens press-fitted in its center hole, and the face has a hollow cylinder integrally connected to its circumference, encircling the spherical lens. The hand-held applicator is applied to one's skin by the hollow cylinder at its edge. The hollow cylinder has a cylindrical electrode embedded in and somewhat projecting forward. A heat sink is placed behind the spherical lens, and a semiconductor laser diode is press-fitted in the through hole, which is made in the center of the heat sink. A cooling fan is placed behind the heat sink.

  • Patent number: 7123636
Abstract: A laser beam irradiation device according to the present invention is so constructed that it may increase or decrease the excitation electric current flowing through its semiconductor laser diode to enable a user to selectively practice both non-thermal and photo-thermal laser treatments. CPU 41 is responsive to switching-on and -off of an output-power switching unit S2 for sending a reference signal to an amplifier 472 via an I/O port 44 and a D/A converter 471, so that the amplifier 472 may provide at its output terminals a reference voltage, with respect to which a control reference voltage for a desired laser output can be determined. Semiconductor laser diode 35 radiates the laser beam from its opposite sides, and a photo-diode 473 receives one of the opposite laser beams to provide a light-accepting voltage at its output terminals. The so acquired light-accepting voltage is directed to an amplifier 474 for amplification, thereby obtaining the monitor voltage.

  • Patent number: 6860835
Abstract: Disclosed is an exercise amount measuring device using as an exercise signal generator an inclination detector commercially available, which can detect two-dimensional movements. Use of such inclination detectors facilitates the assembly of exercise amount measuring devices. The inclination detector 1 is connected to a counter circuit via an input circuit, and the input circuit and the counter circuit are connected to an MPU via an input-and-output port. The input circuit comprises a CR circuit or a flip-flop circuit. The counter circuit counts input pulses post-chattering exclusion, which input pulses are caused by the on-and-off switching actions, which are brought every time the contact ball touches selected contact electrodes in the inclination detector.

  • Publication number: 20040249320
Abstract: A beauty treating device is provided with a device body 1 in which a motor 3 having an eccentric rotor 2 built as a vibration generating section. A beauty treating chip 10 is fixed to a leading end of the device body 1 to conduct vibration from the vibration generating section. The beauty treating chip 10 is kept vibrating and contacted to the skin surface of a user so to penetrate the beauty treating agent into the skin of the user. The beauty treating chip 10 has a porous base material, and the beauty treating agent is impregnated and kept in the porous base material. For the beauty treating chip, a chip shaped whetstone which is formed of ceramics abrasive grains having a particle size in a range of #80 to #800 can also be applied.

  • Publication number: 20030153958
Abstract: A pulse health device which can impart a sufficient treatment efffect even to the periphery of waist part where waist part, hip part and abdoment part having an irregular shape exist closely to each other. An electrode belt 5 of the pulse health device 1 has has a slit 57 made along the longitudinal direction thereof between planar electrodes H1, H3 on the uper stage side and planar electrodes H2, H4 on the lower stage side. When the electrode belt 5 is applied to the periphery of waist part where the parts of a human body having an irregular shape exist closely to each other, the pulse health device 1 can absorb variation of shape through the slit 57 and since the planar electrodes H1, H2, H3 and H4 can touch the peripehry of the waist part stably, a sufficient treatment effect can be imparted.
