In one embodiment, an internal combustion engine, a kayak and a drive system assembly comprising detachable studded wheels is detachably connected to a collapsible chassis. The vehicle provides transport across frozen bodies of water and the kayak provides buoyancy sufficient to support the vehicle and a passenger should the ice collapse underneath the vehicle. The vehicle thus provides fast, convenient and safe transport across frozen bodies of water.
