    Abstract: The invention provides, in some aspects, apparatus and methods for a rotating airflow directing attachment for a barrel of a hair dryer. The attachment includes a tubular adapter (or “attachment body”) having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, wherein the inlet opening is adapted to be removably coupled to the barrel of the hair dryer. A blade is rotatably coupled to the tubular adapter, and a nozzle is disposed adjacent to the outlet opening of the tubular adapter and adapted to rotate with the blade. The nozzle has an opening disposed at an acute angle relative to the outlet opening of the tubular adapter.
