  • Publication number: 20070117055
Abstract: The present invention intends to provide an improved combustion apparatus with a low risk of a fire and an explosion, in which a nozzle is prevented from being blocked with dust contained in dry distillation gas so that backfiring would not be caused. A combustion apparatus for treating dry distillation gas is thus constructed with a gas pipe for supplying a combustion chamber with dry distillation gas generated during a waste treatment by means of dry distillation and an air pipe for supplying a front edge of the gas pipe with combustion air, wherein the air pipe is placed inside the gas pipe to construct a coaxial double pipe so that it forms a circular combustion nozzle at the front edge of the gas pipe.

  • Patent number: 5195449
Abstract: A distillation type incinerator generates gas containing much combustible gas owing to restricted air introduction at feeding the combustible matters thereto and minimum necessary supply of air for combustion and dry distillation, and generates residue which contains less unburned matters and can be taken out in lumps, so as to reduce the amount of waste and facilitate the recycle of useful metals.

  • Patent number: 4932513
Abstract: A hopper for continuously drawing out tires through a water tank including at least one line of declining roller conveyors disposed under an opening for charging the tires. A water tank is diposed under the roller conveyors which receives the tires and arranges the tires in a predetermined direction. A plurality of spaced-apart hooks draws the tires up out of the water tank. The pulled up tires are then transported through a slide plate and a belt-conveyor to a predetermined place.

  • Patent number: 4774896
Abstract: The present invention relates to a slide damper system used for a vertical type of furnace for continuously heat-treating charged solid matters. This slide damper system comprises at least two slide damper means disposed vertically apart from each other in the furnace. The slide damper means is provided with means for preventing clogging with foreign matter and/or means for heat-resisting as well as means for preventing two or more slide damper means from opening simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 4759884
Abstract: An apparatus for gas wet-treatment which includes at least one perforated plate having a unique arrangement of round holes. The holes are provided with a cross-sectional area larger than about 1 cm.sup.2 and a length of between 2 and 10 cm. The central axes of least some of the round holes have portions which meet the perforated plate at an acute angle. Gas is directed upwardly through the plate, while liquid proceeds in a downward direction to provide countercurrent contacting of the gas and the liquid.

  • Patent number: 4726819
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a process and apparatus for recovering the oil component from a flow of dust-including dry-distilled gases produced in a furnace for thermal-decomposing solid polymer wastes, and more particularly to a process and apparatus for continuously recovering the oil component from a flow of dry-distilled gases comprising combustive gases, an oil component, moisture, and dust which are produced in a furnace for thermal-decomposing or dry-distilling polymer wastes such as waste rubber tires, waste plastics, etc.
