  • Publication number: 20020183598
Abstract: A remote care service system comprises the care center (attended by a care worker), a first-aid center, and the plurality of home subsystems, each comprising a relay terminal and at least one wireless care recipient monitoring terminal disguised as an attachment-arousing and/or familiar article. The care and first-aid centers and the wireless terminals are accessible to a communication network such as the Internet. The relay terminal relays a communication between an associated wireless terminal and the center equipment. The wireless terminal tries an interactive communication with the care recipient by using a predetermined phrase to judge whether the care recipient is normal. If not, then the wireless terminal sends an abnormality report to the first-aid center, which responsively dispatches emergency men to the care recipient's home. Judgment the care recipient's health condition interactively with the care recipient enhances the reliability of the judgment.

  • Patent number: 4375672
Abstract: During analysis, sensors are connected to portions of an engine and thereabout and a starter driven by an auxiliary battery incorporated in a system. An engine of a motor car and electrical systems thereabout are automatically diagnosed by use of a computer to discriminate the good or bad condition thereof, whereby the results of diagnosis are outputted as a print out and a fault point or points is indicated by an indicating device. The indicating device successively shows in graphic display the contents of working performed by a worker in the predetermined order of working. Additionally, an engine drive control section automatically sets the analyzer in one of modes including an engine stopped mode, a cranking driven mode, an idling operation mode and the like in accordance with point or points of diagnosis of the vehicle being diagnosed.

  • Patent number: 4098243
Abstract: An ignition timing control system comprises a sensor for detecting a reference point of the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine in synchronism with the rotation of the crankshaft, a speed detector for detecting the rotational speed of the crankshaft, a processor responsive to an interruption request by the reference signal from the sensor for temporarily stopping the computational operation being executed at that time and computing a time period from the time of the interruption request to the point of ignition in accordance with a desired spark advance value and the speed signal from the speed detector to produce the corresponding computed value, and an ignition command circuit for applying an ignition command signal to the ignition system of the engine at the expiration of a time corresponding to the computed value from the processor.

  • Patent number: 4098247
Abstract: A minute pressure control system which combines constant positive pressure and constant negative pressure together to control pressure in a controllable object is disclosed. An electronic control circuit generates a train of pulses modulated in accordance with a preset value. The two constant pressures, either one thereof being switched on and off in response to the pulses, are applied to a surge tank to be combined together therein. The surge tank absorbs pressure pulsation resulting from on-off switching application of the pressure and controls the pressure in the controllable object such as a half-closed chamber to the value preset by the electronic control circuit.
