Publication number: 20240111440Abstract: A three dimensional non-volatile memory structure includes word lines connected to non-volatile memory cells arranged in blocks. A plurality of word line switches are connected to the word lines and one or more sources of voltage. The word line switches are arranged in groups of X word line switches such that each group of X word line switches is positioned in a line under Y blocks of non-volatile memory cells and has a length that is equal to the width of the Y blocks of non-volatile memory cells. To allow closer placement of word line switches that supply different blocks and support the possible large voltage differences between their transistors, word line switches supplying different blocks are formed over a single active region and separated by an intermediate control gate set to be off.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: SanDisk Technologies LLCInventors: Yuki Mizutani, Kazutaka Yoshizawa, Kiyokazu Shishido, Eiichi Fujikura

Patent number: 4849529Abstract: A method for producing spiro-orthocarbonate compounds is disclosed. The method comprises reacting a cyclic carbonate compound of the following formula with an epoxy compound containing an epoxy group: ##STR1## wherein R is an alkylene group or a substituted alkylene group. The disclosed method makes it easy to commercially produce spiro-orthocarbonate compounds in a one stage reaction. The starting materials can be easily handled without any hygienic difficulties and the method can be carried out without entailing any operational difficulties.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 1987Date of Patent: July 18, 1989Assignee: Toagosei Chemical Industry, Ltd.Inventors: Kiyokazu Mizutani, Hitoshi Kato, Kuniko Ogasawara, Takeshi Endo

Patent number: 4425473Abstract: Certain new derivatives of 2,6,7-trioxabicyclo[2,2,2]octane are found to undergo cationic ring-opening polymerization with positive expansion in volume or with no substantial change in volume, in contrast with known polymerizable compounds such as epoxides which present considerable shrinkage in volume on polymerization. These new bicyclic orthoester compounds can be prepared in a facile way known per se.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 1981Date of Patent: January 10, 1984Assignee: Toagosei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kiyokazu Mizutani, Takahisa Ogasawara
