  • Publication number: 20240035352
Abstract: Provided is a molded product having small anisotropy of strength in a MD direction and a TD direction and a processed article thereof. A molded product (10) includes a glycolic acid polymer and a plurality of fibers (11). The fibers (11) include the fibers oriented in the MD direction and the fibers oriented in a direction along a tangent line to concentric circles in a cross-section orthogonal to the MD direction at a specific ratio.

  • Patent number: 6545081
Abstract: A moderately conductive synthetic resin composition comprising a synthetic resin (A), a carbon precursor (B) and at least one conductive filler (C) selected from the group consisting of a non-fibrous conductive filler and a metallic fibrous material, both, having a volume resistivity lower than 102 &OHgr;·cm, and a moderately conductive synthetic resin composition comprising a synthetic resin (A), a carbon precursor (B) and carbon fiber (E).

  • Patent number: 4818640
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a carbonaceous composite product produced by joining carbonaceous materials together by melt-adhesion of a tetrafluoroethylene resin or a tetrafluoroethylene resin mixed with a highly electroconductive carbon black interposed between the carbonaceous materials, a composite electrode substrate for a fuel cell comprising the carbonaceous composite product and the process for producing the same.

  • Patent number: 4759977
Abstract: A flexible carbon material is produced by carbonizing a composite material comprising carbon fibers having an average length of 6 to 50 mm and a binding agent. Carbon lumps are derived from the binding agent and are dispersed in a matrix of the carbon fibers so as to restrain a plurality of the carbon fibers while yet permitting relative slippage to occur as between the carbon fibers and carbon lumps such that the carbon fiber material exhibits a flexibility ratio D/d of not greater than 200 (where D is the diameter of curvature of the carbon material, when bent, just before breakage, and d is the thickness of the carbon material). The carbon fibers and lumps are preferrably present in an amount of from 5 to 50%, and 5 to 70% by volume, respectively, based upon the total volume of the carbon material.
