  • Publication number: 20130050442
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a video processing apparatus includes a viewer position detector, a viewing area information calculator, and a viewing area controller. The viewer position detector is configured to detect a position of a viewer. The viewing area information calculator is configured to calculate a control parameter so as to set a viewing area, in which a plurality of parallax images displayed on a display are viewed as a stereoscopic image, at an area depending on the position of the viewer. The viewing area controller is configured to set the viewing area according to the control parameter when receiving a viewing area adjusting signal, and then, to keep the set viewing area until receiving an indication for adjusting the viewing area.

  • Patent number: 8146481
Abstract: An actuator in which overshooting has been reduced is provided. A cylinder is divided by a piston to provide first and second chambers, and first and second control valves 41, 43, which adjust fluid pressure supply to respective chambers in a non-step manner, and first and second discharge valves 42, 44, which control outflow of fluid from the first and second chambers, are provided. A first control device carries out feedback control of pressure to be supplied to the first or second chamber such that a difference between a target position of the piston and a detected position of the piston becomes smaller. A second control device carries out differential-preceding PD control to bias pressure to be commonly supplied to the first and second chambers such that the difference between the target position of the piston and the detected position of the piston becomes smaller.

  • Publication number: 20110296491
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an account server includes a first communication module, a second communication module, a database, and a controller. The first communication module receives a logon request from an electronic device, and establishes a session with the device. The second communication module obtains data from a service site connected to a network. The database associatively stores data for identifying electronic devices, data for identifying and accessing service sites, and names of services. The controller receives a service name from an electronic device which is established a session, obtains data from a service site by using data for identifying and accessing the site, and sends the data to the electronic device which is established a session.
