  • Patent number: 6206559
Abstract: This invention relates to a plasticating screw suitable for use in an injection molding machine or an extruder. In the plasticating screw which is rotatable within a cylinder and has a mixing head (7) with plural groove portions (7a,7b) formed therein, recesses (2,3) in the shape of steps or slopes are formed on an outer peripheral surface (7d) of the mixing head (7) other than the groove portions (7a,7b) so that the recesses are in communication with the groove portions (7a,7b) located forward thereof as viewed in a direction of rotation.

  • Patent number: 6189332
Abstract: The invention includes a step of supplying at least one heat control means of heating means and cooling means for conditioning the air temperature, and a step of manufacturing a fan for blowing air controlled by the heat control means, in which the step of manufacturing the fan includes a step of preparing a compound material having (i) glass fiber, and (ii) at least one copolymer of a copolymer produced from a monomer containing acrylonitrile and styrene, and a copolymer produced from styrene and a heat resistant monomer, a step of forming a molded part by molding the compound material, a step of assembling a fan by using the molded part, and a step of clearing the molded part of strain by annealing the fan by hot air circulation in a temperature range lower by about 5° C. to about 20° C. than the load deflection temperature, and in a wind velocity range of about 1 m/sec to about 3 m/sec. The fan having a load deflection temperature of about 100° C.

  • Patent number: 5138700
Abstract: To magnify display data generated by a lap-top type computer using a magnifying display unit having a transmission type liquid crystal display (LCD) and an overhead projector (OHP) apparatus, a display control apparatus is set between the lap-top type computer and the magnifying display unit. The display control apparatus is connected via an interface to the lap-top type computer. The display data is stored in the display control apparatus. The stored display data is output to the LCD in a predetermined timing so that it is magnified by the OHP apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5004352
Abstract: A plasticizing screw for an injection molding machine or the like having one or more lands in a crest portion of a screw flight to prevent the screw flight from coming into contact with a cylinder wall surface when the plasticizing screw is rotated during a molding operation. The land has a smaller diameter than that of a crest portion of the screw flight and is provided at the screw flight crest portion either between leading and trailing surfaces of the screw flight or extending from the leading edge of the screw flight. The land can also be provided as a plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart lands on the side of a front surface of the screw flight, or provided at a central portion between the leading and trailing surfaces of the screw flight.

  • Patent number: 4812973
Abstract: In a multiprocessor system in which bidirectional data transfer is effected among a plurality of processors through at least one data buffer permitting the transfer data to be read therefrom and written thereinto, judgement is made as to whether the transfer data can be read from the data buffer and/or written thereinto on the basis of information about the read and/or write addresses of the data buffer, and the processing of each of processors is interrupted on the basis of the result of the judgement to cause the processor to read the transfer data from the data buffer and/or write it thereinto.

  • Patent number: 4470038
Abstract: A shift control system for keyboard having plural character keys and at least one shift key arranged in a predetermined key matrix and the positions of which are defined by respective matrix codes, including a keyboard controller under the control of a central processing unit for determining a depression of any of the keys of the key matrix. The matrix codes of the shift keys are predetermined and so identified. The key matrix is scanned and the matrix codes of any depressed keys are determined and compared with the predetermined matrix code of the shift keys. Keycodes are formed for each depressed key based on the matrix codes produced for the respective key and based on whether or not a shift key depression is determined.

  • Patent number: 4425646
Abstract: An input data synchronizing circuit of the invention has a synchronous control counter. Part of count value of the synchronous control counter is supplied to a count register. The count register accesses a parameter ROM utilizing, as part of an address, a count value (phase status) during the input of current data and a count value (phase status) during input of immediately preceding data. The parameter ROM outputs a correction value as an initial value for the synchronous control counter so that the synchronous control counter would output a WINDOW signal synchronous with the input data near the center of the pulse width of the WINDOW signal. The circuit of the invention further includes a rotation correction register which holds stationary time shift information serially input by the rotational errors of the floppy disk drives and which outputs the information to the parameter ROM as part of the address.
