Publication number: 20030078876Abstract: A procurement system for procuring a plurality of subjects, comprises a storage, a relation processor, a determining processor, and a bidding processor. The storage is configured to store information on a price, a function, and a quantity of each of the subjects. The relation processor is configured to obtain a relation between prices and functions of the subjects, based on the information stored in the storage. The determining processor is configured to determine a priority, for at least one of the subjects each of whose price is higher than a reference value which corresponds to the function of the each subject. The priority is obtained from the relation obtained by the relation processor. Further, the priority is determined based on the quantity of the each subject stored in the storage and a divergence between the price and the reference value of the each subject.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2002Publication date: April 24, 2003Applicant: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOSHIBAInventors: Kiyoshi Yamashita, Yoshimi Akai, Mutsuo Innami

Patent number: 4983154Abstract: Disclosed are carton assembling method and equipment for sucking and taking out flatwise folded cartons one by one from a magazine by means of suction cups, unfolding each carton squarely on a conveyance path while transferring it downward along a rotative path, and supplying the thus-unfolded cartons to an encasing machine by means of a conveyance mechanism. Each carton is held squarely by a pair of stoppers, utilizing its reaction force acting in the returning direction. Thereafter, the carton is reverse-folded against such reaction force and then unfolded again to remove the folding tendency of the carton acting in the folded direction, thereby permitting the carton to hold itself in a square shape. And at the time of reverse folding, the flaps of each carton are expanded so that a contents charging conveyor can be disposed in close proximity to the cartons.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 1988Date of Patent: January 8, 1991Assignee: Tokyo Automatic Machinery Works, Ltd.Inventors: Toshio Nagahashi, Kiyoshi Yamashita, Minoru Sato

Patent number: 4963794Abstract: A vehicle cornering headlamp system in which the direction of illumination of the headlamps of an automobile are made to follow the actual direction of movement of the vehicle, except that the direction of illumination is returned to the straight-ahead direction more quickly than it is moved away therefrom, thereby more accurately following the usual eye movement of the driver. For this purpose, a control signal is generated which has a pulse width indicative of the steering angle but which has a variation characteristic with respect to steering angle which is larger when the steering wheel is turned back towards the straight-ahead position than when the steering wheel is turned away from the straight-ahead position.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 1988Date of Patent: October 16, 1990Assignee: Koito Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiromi Shibata, Kazuki Takahashi, Keiichi Tajima, Takashi Kurita, Kiyoshi Wada, Kiyoshi Yamashita

Patent number: 4943893Abstract: An automotive illumination system with which, when steering the vehicle around a curve or corner, both the path along which the vehicle is to travel and the direction straight ahead of the vehicle are sufficiently illuminated. Four headlamps are provided. Two of the headlamps, preferably the outer two, have directions of illumination fixed in the straight-ahead direction of the vehicle. The other two headlamps have directions of illumination which are controlled in accordance with the steering angle of the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 1988Date of Patent: July 24, 1990Assignee: Koito Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroki Shibata, Kazuki Takahashi, Keiichi Tajima, Takashi Kurita, Kiyoshi Wada, Kiyoshi Yamashita

Patent number: 4908560Abstract: In a vehicle cornering lamp system, a control signal having a pulse width corresponding to a steering angle is periodically produced, and the amount of position shift between the actual direction of illumination of the headlamps and the target direction of illumination determined from the steering angle is detected according to the control signal thus produced. An electric motor is driven to change the direction of illumination of the headlamps so that the amount of position shift becomes zero, that is, the direction of illumination of the headlamps is linearly changed with the electric motor while following the steering angle.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 1988Date of Patent: March 13, 1990Assignee: Koito Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroki Shibata, Kazuki Takahashi, Keiichi Tajima, Takashi Kurita, Kiyoshi Wada, Kiyoshi Yamashita
