    Abstract: An object is to provide an electronic device capable of recognizing a user's facial feature accurately. A glasses-type electronic device includes a first optical component, a second optical component, a frame, an imaging device, a feature extraction unit, and an emotion estimation unit. The frame is in contact with a side surface of the first optical component and a side surface of the second optical component. The imaging device is in contact with the frame and has a function of detecting part of a user's face. The feature extraction unit has a function of extracting a feature of the user's face from the detected part of the user's face. The emotion estimation unit has a function of estimating information on the user from the extracted feature.

    Abstract: A production method of an edible sustained-release functional material that has a high effect of preventing oozing of oil at the time of production, and that can inexpensively perform production, even by using fat and oil other than fish oil and continuously performing pulverization at ordinary temperature; and the edible sustained-release functional material. An edible sustained-release functional material is produced by: preparing an emulsified raw material by emulsifying fat and oil containing a hydrophobic functional ingredient; stirring and mixing the emulsified raw material, gelatin, transglutaminase, and dextrin having a DE value of 8 to 21; then forming a gel by leaving the mixture to rest; and after freeze-drying the gel, performing pulverization for powderization. An emulsifier or ammonium salt may be further added at the time of stirring and mixing.

A reception signal from an antenna is inputted to an intermediate-frequency amplifying circuit via an antenna switching circuit, a front end and an A/D converting circuit, and an S meter signal from an S meter circuit is inputted to a controlling section via a noise detecting filter and an absolute value circuit. Then, the controlling section compares noise components outputted from the absolute value circuit (noise level) with a threshold value Vth outputted from a threshold value setting section. When the noise level becomes higher than the threshold value Vth, an antenna selection controlling signal is outputted to the antenna switching circuit, and antennas are switched.

The multipath detecting unit (33), signal processing parts (23a, 23b), and a combiner (25) are provided to obtain a received signal based on received outputs of a plurality of antennas (21a, 21b) when receiving a radio wave signal modulated by a modulating method, such as an FM, in which no change in amplitude is produced. Therefore, the radio wave signal can be received in a better condition than when received using a single antenna. The multipath detecting unit (33) detects a change in amplitude of the received signal as the multipath level (Mdc).

A device suitable for performing the above method is also disclosed.
