  • Patent number: 5280941
Abstract: An anti-theft ball assembly for a ball and socket hitch is disclosed where the mounting bolt and retaining nut that clamp the ball assembly to a tow bar are covered by a cup-shaped cover that combines with the socket to prevent access to the mounting bolt and mounting nut.

  • Patent number: 5087064
Abstract: An anti-theft, safety device is disclosed for use with ball and socket trailer hitches comprising a base plate clamped to the tow bar near the ball, a post attached at one end to the base plate that extends vertically from the tow bar adjacent to the ball and socket, an upper plate through which the post extends that moves vertically and rotates with respect to the post, a bushing with an opening in register with the opening in the upper plate through which the post extends, both the post and the bushing having transverse openings through which a lock bolt may be passed when the holes are aligned so that the upper plate will be held over the socket to prevent the socket from being disconnected from the ball.

  • Patent number: 5051104
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for use in flushing the cooling systems of water cooled outboard and inboard/outboard motorboat engines that draw cooling water through intakes in the engine housing beneath the surface of the water in which the boat is operating. The apparatus allows lubricant to be injected into the cooling system after the cooling system has been flushed with clean, fresh water to leave a coating of oil in the surfaces of the cooling system to prevent rust from forming on the surface. The apparatus consists of a U-shaped or bighted spring with two legs on which are slidably mounted two cup-shaped seal members constructed of elastomeric material. The seal members are positioned over the cooling intakes of the engine housing. One of the seal members has an opening through which clean fresh water is introduced and the other sealing member has an opening through which lubricant is injected.

  • Patent number: 4121948
Abstract: An apparatus adapted for adjustable mounting on boat motors having different sizes and locations of cooling intakes for flushing and controllably introducing fluids into the cooling system of such boat motors and further having fluid conducting members for providing a stream of fluid for introduction into the boat motors, and a fluid introducing member releasably attached to the cooling intake of the boat motor for introducing a stream of fluid into the cooling system and a control member connected to the fluid introducing member and in fluid communication with the conducting member for controllably introducing fluid into the cooling system of a boat motor.
