  • Patent number: 11333274
Abstract: A hose connector assembly for connecting a hose to a port of a pressurized fluid system, the system including a socket and an adapter tube in fluid communication, with an end portion of the socket adapted to be connected to a port and having a receiving opening. The adapter tube has a plug-in end portion to be pushed into the receiving opening which is adapted to cooperate with the plug-in end portion to form a plug-in connection mechanism. The adapter tube has a hose connector end fitting adapted to be received in, hold and retain a hose end portion. Complementary locking surfaces of the receiving opening and plug-in end portion are engaged when the plug-in end portion is connected by the plug-in connection mechanism to the socket to lock the adapter tube with respect to the socket against rotation about the longitudinal axis of the adapter tube within the socket.

  • Patent number: 10189457
Abstract: A drain valve for a compressed air brake system of a vehicle comprises a valve housing defining a valve chamber open at one end and a drain aperture at the opposite end. A poppet has a poppet body at least partially received in the valve chamber and provided with a seal. The poppet is slidable between a closed position in which the poppet and the seal contact the inner wall of the valve housing around the drain aperture thereby closing the drain aperture, and an open position moved away from the drain aperture. A spring urges the poppet to the closed position. The poppet and the seal are incorporated in a single multi-component injection molded plastic part comprising at least two components. The poppet body is formed of a first plastic component and the seal is formed of a second plastic component partially embedded in the first plastic component.

  • Patent number: 5845944
Abstract: A coupling for pressurized medium comprising a stud member and a socket member, the stud member and the socket member are mutually locked together in a completely coupled position by a locking ring which engages with circumferential locking ring grooves in the stud and socket member, two sealing rings sealingly engage the stud member and socket member and the stud member and socket member have second grooves into which a safety ring is fitted, the second groove in the socket member has a larger axial extent than the safety ring so that when the locking ring is engaged in the locking ring grooves, the safety ring is not effective to retain the stud and socket members together but is only effective prior to the locking ring engaging the locking ring grooves when the stud and socket members are incompletely coupled together.
