  • Patent number: 10950082
Abstract: In response to determining that a triggering condition has been satisfied, a plurality of resolution options for a plurality of wagering games may be provided to a gaming device for display. The plurality of resolution options includes a first resolution option that includes resolving a first number of instances of a first subset of the plurality of wagering games, and a second resolution option that includes resolving a second number of instances of a second subset of the plurality of wagering games. The first number of instances is different from the second number of instances, and the first subset is different from the second subset. The plurality of wagering games is then resolved according to one of the plurality of resolution options.

  • Patent number: 10475274
Abstract: Three-dimensional displays and related techniques are provided. A method of generating a stereoscopic 3D image of a casino game apparatus is provided. A first static 2D image may be applied to a surface in a virtual 3D environment as a first texture of the surface in a first view of the virtual 3D environment. A second static 2D image may be applied to the surface in the virtual 3D environment as a second texture of the surface in a second view of the virtual 3D environment. A stereoscopic 3D image of the casino game apparatus may be generated, the stereoscopic 3D image comprising the first view of the virtual 3D environment with the first static 2D image applied as the first texture to the surface and the second view of the virtual 3D environment with the second static 2D image applied as the second texture to the surface.

  • Patent number: 10427034
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine (EGM) includes a display having a display surface configured to provide stereoscopic 3D viewing of at least a portion of the game. The portion of the game includes a 3D interface element. The EGM further includes a locating sensor that generates an electronic signal based on a player's location in a sensing space. The EGM includes an ultrasonic emitter configured to emit an ultrasonic field. At least a portion of the ultrasonic field is located in the sensing space. The EGM also includes one or more processors configured to: identify a location of one or more player features based on the electrical signal from the locating sensor; determine that the location of the player features is associated with the 3D interface element; and control one or more of the ultrasonic emitters based on the identified location to provide tactile feedback to the player.

  • Patent number: 10403082
Abstract: An electronic wagering gaming machine system includes a display, one or more input controls, one or more ultrasound emitters and a sensor that detects the location of a person in proximity to the display. Control circuitry executes wagering game software that receives input commands entered via the input control(s), to display graphics output from the wagering game software responsive to the input commands, and to generate public and private sound signals in an audible frequency range. The private sound signals may be directed to the detected person's location by modulating one or more ultrasound carrier waves with the private sound signals and outputting the modulated ultrasound waves toward the detected person's location via the ultrasound emitter(s). The public sound signals may be played in the audible frequency range via the audio speaker(s).

  • Patent number: 10380828
Abstract: A method of displaying stereoscopic 3D images of a casino game apparatus is provided. Positions of heads of two or more viewers of a display device are determined. Viewpoints of the two or more viewers are determined based, at least in part, on the head positions. Stereoscopic 3D images depicting the casino game apparatus from approximately the viewpoints of the two or more viewers are generated. A first stereoscopic image of the game apparatus from the first viewpoint is displayed with a set of pixels configured to be visible to the first viewer. A second stereoscopic image of the game apparatus from the second viewpoint is displayed with a set of pixels configured to be visible to the second viewer. The first and second stereoscopic images of the game apparatus are displayed simultaneously to the first and second viewers based, at least in part, on the first and second viewpoints.

  • Patent number: 5725428
Abstract: A slot machine device comprises an input sensor for sensing tokens delivered to the slot machine. A processor is connected to the input sensor for receiving information about tokens entered into the machine and for initiating a corresponding cycle of the slot machine. A first pseudo random number generator is connected to the processor for being triggered upon sensing a token input. A background position control unit is connected to the first pseudo random number generator for associating a plurality of position pointer addresses to the signal from the first pseudo random number generator. A background reel memory includes a plurality of background reel memory sections, with each background reel memory section coordinated to a corresponding one of the plurality of position pointer addresses and connected to the processor for delivering to the processor the final configuration of this cycle.
