  • Patent number: 5132137
Abstract: A process for producing a lumpy meat emulsion product, in which the starting materials including proteins of predominantly animal origin are processed into a meat emulsion at temperatures below 55.degree. C. The meat emulsion is forced through a gap between plates of a high speed emulsifier into a process tube and rapidly heated to within the range of approximately 40.degree. to 75.degree. C. such that relatively rapid coagulation of the emulsion material results.

  • Patent number: 4995342
Abstract: A holder for bird food packed in portion containers with a reception portion extending horizontally when in use and having an opening forming a receptacle for the portion container. The reception portion is provided with a gripping portion connected thereto, a first notch located between the reception portion and the gripping portion and extending at right angles to the extension thereof and an end flange fixed to the plate at right angles adjacent to the notch. At its end remote from the plate the holder is provided with a second notch oriented vertically with respect to the first notch when in use. Alternatively, the reception portion is provided with a flange fixed in downwardly projecting manner and at right angles to the reception portion, a flexible locking plate fixed to the flange and extending away from the reception portion in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 4639326
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a nonionic surfactant-containing powder detergent composition wherein a spray-dried sodium sulphate-free base powder containing a portion of the nonionic surfactant is obtained and the remaining portion of the nonionic surfactant is in part sprayed onto the base powder and in part added subsequently in a form obtained by granulation with a carrier containing a mixture of zeolite and alkali metal perborate monhydrate and wherein the other detergent components are added subsequently to the base powder. A detergent composition prepared in this manner has a high bulk density despite its high AD content.
