  • Patent number: 5682663
Abstract: A covering (A) which is developed as closure for infusion bottles (3) or the like, having a cap (1) adapted to be flanged at its lower edge (11) onto the neck (2) of the bottle, the cap having a hole (9) in its top (8) for the formation of a puncture region, and in order to obtain a structural shape which is of simpler manufacture and more favorable for disposal, the hole (9) is closed by the foil section (16) of a supplementary cap (17) which, as a result of that fact that it extends to the lower edge (11) of the cap (1), can be flanged with the latter and is attached by adherence to the cap (1).

  • Patent number: 5678713
Abstract: An arrangement (A) on infusion bottles (1), or the like, having a cover (7) which has several foil-covered puncture regions (13), which cover is held by a cap (8). In order to obtain individual accessibility despite the overall covering, the cover foil (15) has an intended tear line (17) between the puncture regions (13) and forms, on both sides of the intended tear line (17), grip tabs (18) which protrude beyond the contour of the cap (8).

  • Patent number: 5487495
Abstract: A manually actuated dropper device for the mouth of a liquid container that delivers finely metered dosages of liquid is disclosed. The dropper comprises an elastically deformable bellows which can sealingly be fastened onto the mouth of a container along with a threaded cap. The bellows are perforated in a protruding region by a hole serving as a dropper opening. Two spring tongues are also attached to the container; these at least partially surround the bellows and extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bellows. The protruding ends of the tongues can be elastically displaced towards each other, thereby squeezing the bellows. Stop surfaces on the spring tongues control the degree to which the bellows are squeezed.

  • Patent number: 5467878
Abstract: A closure for an injection bottle is disclosed which has an insert part for covering the mouth of the bottle, a cylindrical section having an inside diameter which is substantially identical to its length, the cylindrical section having a sealing lip on an inner circumferential surface for allowing sealed insertion of a syringe, and an intermediate ring connecting the cylindrical section to the insert part, the intermediate ring having an essentially Z-shaped cross section.

  • Patent number: 5447247
Abstract: A closure cap for the sterile sealing of a pharmaceutical bottle is disclosed. The bottle is closed with a rubber elastic sealing element that is covered by a flanged cap having a lid region and a flanged border that covers the bottle neck and is connected with the bottle neck in a border zone below the border of the bottle neck. The lid region is covered by a plastic lid and is connected to the plastic lid in its center region at a first attachment area that is enclosed by a partially circular tear line. The plastic lid is provided with a cord-like predetermined bending line. The lid region and the plastic lid are also connected to each other outside the tear line with a second attachment area, and the groove orthogonally intersects an imaginary connection line connecting the centers of the first and second attachment areas.

  • Patent number: 5405031
Abstract: A closure for a medicine bottle, the closure having a flanged cap for covering the bottle mouth and having in the region of its base a tear-out section defined by a weakened line. A cover having a front and a rear part connected by an articulation is disposed over the flanged cap. The front part attaches to the tear-out section of the flanged cap at a first attachment area. The rear part of the cover is connected to the flanged cap outside the tear-out section at a second attachment area. When the front part of the cover is lifted up, the tear-out section is removed to provide access to the bottle. If the front part is pulled even further, the entire closure can be removed with ease from the bottle, especially if weakened lines extending from the second attachment area are provided. The closure may also be developed as a medicine bottle closure with a sealing element through which a syringe may be inserted.

  • Patent number: 5368177
Abstract: An infusion bottle having a partial section of its bottom wall which bulges outward in a cup-like manner and which can be pierced in the region of its bottom wall by an infusion spike. A cup-shaped cover cap is provided which can be placed thereon from the outside and connected in liquid-tight manner. The cover cap has a cover bottom with a central region which can be removed. A clamping ring for the infusion spike is located between the cover bottom and the bottom wall of the bottle. The clamping ring is in the form of an O-ring and has an inside diameter which is smaller than the diameter of the central region. The clamping ring contacts the bottom wall of the bottle and the cover bottom with initial tension and has an outside diameter which is greater than that of the central region.

  • Patent number: 4749105
Abstract: A dispenser for paste-like substances is disclosed having a piston which is slidably disposed in a dispenser housing. The piston moves as the dispenser is being emptied toward a dispensing opening while being restrained from movement in the opposite direction. A press button is connected with a rod that extends through the piston and is coupled nonpositively with the piston through the intermediary of a locking device permitting the rod to move freely in one direction, but to carry the piston in the opposite direction. A membrane seals the end of the housing opposite the discharge opening. The piston rod is designed as a piercing tool for piercing the membrane.
