The corona station includes at least one electrode (18) connected to a high-voltage power supply through connection means, a housing containing at least partially the electrode (18) and the connection means, and at least one cylindrical counter-electrode (17), wherein the strip of material (16) does not rest on the whole surface of said counter-electrode (17).
