  • Patent number: 9338945
Abstract: A feed beater (114) for a single-rotor, axial-flow combine (100) that comprises a cylinder (200) having a first end portion and a second end portion; first blades (202) fixed to the first end portion of the cylinder (200) and disposed at a first angle (alpha) with respect to a rotational axis (300) of the cylinder (200); second blades (204) fixed to the second end portion of the cylinder (200) and disposed at a second angle (beta) with respect to the rotational axis (300) of the cylinder (200); the first blades (202) spiral in a first direction over a first longitudinal extent of the cylinder (200); and the second blades (204) spiral in a second direction over a second longitudinal extent of the cylinder (200), wherein the second direction is opposite to the first direction, and further wherein the first longitudinal extent is greater than the second longitudinal extent.

  • Patent number: 7690973
Abstract: A harvesting machine including a frame, a plurality of ground engaging wheels, at least one grain separating section, a plurality of cross augers and a grain moving device. The plurality of ground engaging wheels support the frame. The at least one grain separating section is supported by the frame. The plurality of cross augers are positioned to receive grain from the at least one grain separating section. The plurality of cross augers each have an end. The grain moving device is associated with each of the plurality of cross augers proximate to the end of the plurality of cross augers.

  • Patent number: 7682236
Abstract: The invention concerns a harvested crop processing unit with a rotor, a rotor housing enclosing the rotor, a cover element of the rotor housing, and a first group of helical guide rails that can be moved relative to the cover element between an operating position in which they are located underneath the cover element in engagement with harvested crop and a non-operating position in which they are located above the cover element. The invention proposes that a second group of helical guide rails be provided that can be moved alternately with the first group of helical guide rails relative to the cover element between an operating position in which they are located underneath the cover element in engagement with harvested crop and a non-operating position in which they are located above the cover element, and that are provided with an inclination that differs from the inclination of the guide rail of the first group.
