Abstract: The object of the invention is a drive system for a motor vehicle door (1), in particular a sliding door (1). This comprises a drive motor (4) and a connected drive means (6, 7, 8, 9) for moving the motor vehicle door (1) along an opening/closing path (R). According to the invention, a gear (5) or generally a torque converter is provided between the drive motor (4) and the drive means (6, 7, 8, 9), said gear or torque converter acting with different torques on the drive means (6, 7, 8, 9) depending on a respective load and/or signal.

Abstract: A power-closing motor-vehicle door latch has a housing and a fork engageable around a bolt, formed with an abutment, and pivotal on the housing from an open position through a partially closed position into a fully closed position. A latch pawl engageable with the fork in the partially and fully closed positions can retain the fork therein. A rocker is pivotal on the housing between inner and outer positions and a closing pawl is pivoted on the rocker between an entrainment position engageable with the fork abutment and a freeing position. A crank drive displaces the rocker outward toward the outer position with the closing pawl in the entrainment position so as to pivot the fork from the partially closed position into the fully closed position. A control member is pivotal on the rocker between a pair of end positions.

Abstract: A door latch has a main housing holding latching element that can retain it in a latched or an unlatched position. A manual actuating mechanism is movable in the main housing between actuated and unactuated positions and a coupling part on the main housing can move between a coupling position connecting the actuating mechanism to the latching elements for displacement of them into the unlatched position on displacement of the actuating mechanism into the actuated position and a decoupling position for disconnecting the actuating mechanism from the latching elements. A central locking element on the main housing is movable between locked and unlocked positions and a locking mechanism jointly movable with the locking element can displace the coupling part into the decoupling position on displacement of the central locking element into the locked position and for displacing the coupling part into the coupling position on displacement of the central locking element into the unlocked position.
