  • Patent number: 7295527
Abstract: A signal analyzer and a method for displaying code-channel power levels of CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) signal that contains code changes having different spreading factors. The individual code-channel power level is measured from a received signal and displayed in a diagram for a specified base spreading factor. The code channels having an alias power level are indicated. A code channel, with regard to the specified base spreading factor, has an alias power level when the code channel having the base spreading factor is inactive and when a code channel of a higher spreading factor (corresponding to the former code channel) is active, or, in the event of orthogonal transmit diversity, the power level of a code channel is mapped onto the code channel of the base spreading factor.

  • Patent number: 7239616
Abstract: A signal analyzer and a method for displaying power levels of code channels of a CMDA signal sent with orthogonal transmit diversity (OTD) via at least one of at least two antennae is described. Once a code class has been determined for representing the power of each individual code channel, the power levels of the code channels in the next highest code class are defined and associated with a respective antenna. Once a code channel exchange has been carried out according to the actual association of the antennae in relation to the code class of the actually active code channels, the power levels of the code channels for at least one antenna are correctly represented on a display device in terms of the antenna.

  • Patent number: 6931085
Abstract: An apparatus for correction of a resampler is provided, with which a sampled input signal, that is subjected to an input sampling rate and which has a chip frequency that differs from the input sampling rate, is converted into a sampled output signal for which the sampling rate corresponds with the chip frequency, by changing the input sampling rate by a resampling factor. The input signal is subjected to a non-linear operation so that a spectral line is produced at the chip frequency. A frequency shifter spectrally shifts the input signal by the chip frequency. The phase of the shifted spectral line at the chip frequency is determined as a function of sampling time points. On the basis of a regression of the phase of the shifted spectral line at the chip frequency, the resampling factor is corrected and/or the output signal is time-wise shifted by a time correction value.

  • Publication number: 20020034271
Abstract: The invention involves an apparatus (2) for correction of a resampler with which a sampled input signal (SD), that is subjected to an input sampling rate (fA) and which has a chip frequency (fc) that differs from the input sampling rate (fA), is converted into a sampled output signal (Sc) for which the sampling rate corresponds with the chip frequency (Sc), by changing the input sampling rate (fA) by a resampling factor. The apparatus (2) includes a non-linear element (8) that subjects the input signal (SD) to a non-linear operation so that a spectral line (15) is produced at the chip frequency (fc) and a frequency shifter (9) that spectrally shifts the input signal (SD) by the chip frequency (fc). Further, a phase determining device (11) determines the phase of the shifted spectral line at the chip frequency (fc) as a function of sampling time points.
