  • Publication number: 20070183299
Abstract: An optical disc (11 to 18) having sectors (3) each having a sector ID further comprises: a first area (4) having a first set of sectors (313-315) sequentially arranged on the disc (11 to 18) according to their respective IDs, a second area (5) having a second set of sectors (316-318) sequentially arranged on the disc (11 to 18) according to their respective IDs, the second area (5) being located after the first area (4) in respect of a disc scan direction (B) and having at least one sector ID which duplicates that of a sector in the first set of sectors, a start sector (33) located before the first area (4), and navigation data indicating to an optical disc reader, after having read the start sector (33), to displace its pickup reader device to a first target sector (316, 317, 352) having a sector ID of one of the sectors of the second area (5) or of a sector located after the second area (5), wherein the number of sectors between the start sector (33) and the first target sector is chosen such that the

  • Publication number: 20070036356
Abstract: A record carrier for storing at least one stream of linked content cells thereon, which linking is performed based on navigation data. The record carrier includes modified navigation data and/or a stream arrangement of at least one stream of linked content cells, so that an access of the at least one stream of linked content cells on the record carrier under consideration of the navigation data is not disturbed, whereas a generally linear access of the at least one stream of linked content cells on the record carrier is disturbed.

  • Publication number: 20060291651
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for effectively converting non copy protected data (1) into copy protected data (5). The non copy protected data (1) comprises data structure data, controlling data and content data. The content data are embedded into data structures defined by the data structure data, and are processible by using the controlling data.

  • Publication number: 20060083860
Abstract: Process for producing a multilayer coating, in which a first coating (A) has applied to it a subsequent coating material (B) which is then cured involves selecting and/or modifying the first coating (A) and/or selecting the coating material (B) in such a way that the quotient (Q) formed from the surface energy of the second coating (B) and the surface energy of the first coating (A) is less than or equal to 1, and its use.

  • Publication number: 20040130996
Abstract: A system for modulating digital binary data to be recorded on a recording medium comprises the generation of channel bits of the digital binary data to be recorded according to a standard for the recording medium with the exception that a maximum run length larger than that defined in the standard is obtained and/or the merging decision is influenced on basis of a random noise in a predetermined pattern or in at least one predetermined position on said recording medium and/or by recording at least one part comprising at least one predetermined repetitive bit pattern which normally, i.e. according to the standard for the recording medium, encodes into channel bits having a spectral distribution that shows at least one range of frequencies with a characteristic amplitude distribution.

  • Publication number: 20020142101
Abstract: The invention relates to a process, in which a body to be coated passes via the entry 1 into the pretreatment stage 2. This is followed by electrodeposition coating 3 and the baking 4 of the electrodeposition coat. In stage 5 preparation takes place for coating with powder coating material (stage 6). In stage 7 drying is carried out with IR irradiation. This is followed by the cooling stage 7. The powder coating material is applied to the powder coat in stage 9. Following passage through the intermediate drying stage 10 a protective coat is applied in stage 11 and then is baked in stage 12. The body is transported out of the unit via the exit 13.

  • Patent number: 6426147
Abstract: The invention relates to a substrate provided with a multilayer coating. The invention additionally relates to a process for its preparation, in which the body to be coated passes via the entry 1 into the pretreatment stage 2. The body is transported out of the unit via the exit 11.

  • Patent number: 4640190
Abstract: To provide for an easily replaceable attachment of a printing cylinder (11) on a shaft (12), the shaft is formed as a stub shaft with a flange (13) projecting therefrom, and a disk-shaped groove or recess or bore is formed in the end face (14) of the milling roller, into which the flange is fitted by an interference fit. In order to provide for ease of engagement of the interference fit, the flange and/or the end face of the roller is undercut by a groove spaced somewhat from the fitting engagement surfaces to form a resilient lip (16) which is subjected to the interference fit. The flange and the milling roller are connected by one or more clamping screws or bolts (18).
