  • Patent number: 8908450
Abstract: A double density memory device including two synchronous dynamic random access memory chips, each having multiple data (DQ) signals, multiple address signals and multiple control signals. The chips are mounted in a package that provides interconnection terminals for conducting electrical signals to and from the memory chips. An interconnecting network is contained within the package to provide paths for electrically connecting the chip contact pad on each chip corresponding to a specific control or address signal to one interconnection terminal for that signal for both chips so that the control and address signals for the two chips are tied together. For each DQ signal, the chip contact pad on each chip corresponding to that DQ signal is connected by the interconnecting network to a separate interconnection terminal. The trace length between a chip contact pad and the interconnection terminal to which it connects for each signal is substantially the same.

  • Patent number: 8457361
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for monitoring the filling of a capsule with a medicament, a corresponding filing method and the corresponding devices. According to the monitoring method, after at least part of the capsule is filled with a given filling mass of given closed shape of medicament, in a first step, at least the filling mass located in the part of the capsule after filling is recorded with a digital image, in a second step, the shape of the filling mass located in the part of the capsule is determined from the digital image and, in a third step, the shape analysed to give an analysis of the filling in comparison with given shapes.

  • Patent number: 5819953
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for sorting capsules of hard or soft gelatin, starch or another material, for faultless and faulty capsules. In the apparatus, capsules are first fed from a supply container holders in a control station, then conveyed in the capsule holders through individual control positions in the control station where they are observed using cameras. The images acquired by the cameras are evaluated to determine production faults in the capsules. The faulty capsules are finally ejected from the control station separately from faultless capsules.
