  • Publication number: 20040064009
Abstract: A method for processing an olefin-containing product stream that contains dimethyl ether as a by-product is described. Such a product stream arises, for example, in the synthesis of olefin from methanol. For separation of the dimethyl ether from the product stream, it is proposed that at least a partial stream chiefly containing C3 hydrocarbons is separated from the product stream by fractionation, and is sent to a rectification column (C3 splitter) (16) for separation of propylene and propane. The dimethyl ether goes together with the propane into the bottom of the rectification column in the rectification process and can be withdrawn (42). A substantially pure propylene product (41), which contains at most only traces of dimethyl ether, can be removed from the top of the rectification column.

  • Publication number: 20040016630
Abstract: The rotary light switch for motor vehicles has a housing (10) and an actuating member (14) mounted rotatably. In a peripheral wall (24) of the housing, a cam surface (26) is recessed, which runs in peripheral direction and rises axially facing axially away from the actuating member. A cam follower (22) projects radially from the actuating member (14) and runs up on the cam surface on rotation of the actuating member, bearing only axially on the cam surface and forcing the actuating member (14) to move axially.

  • Publication number: 20030176777
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for the non-invasive detection or determination, by Raman spectroscopy, of the concentration of substances in body fluids. The aim of the invention is to facilitate a non-invasive in vivo detection of substances in body fluids that allows for very accurate, reproducible results of analysis while requiring only little time for measuring which is acceptable for the patient. To this end, the inventive method and device for carrying out a Raman spectroscopy of a body fluid in a body tissue (1) records at least two Raman spectrums under different physical conditions and compares them with each other. The result of comparison allows detection of the substance one is looking for and measurement of the concentration of said substance.

  • Patent number: 6526509
Abstract: The method provides that a session code (K) can be agreed between a first computer unit (U) and a second computer unit (N), without it being possible for any unauthorized third party to gain access to useful information relating to the codes or the identity of the first computer unit (U). This is achieved by embedding the principle of the El-Gamal code interchange in the method, with additional formation of a digital signature via a hash value of the session code (K) which is formed by the first computer unit (U).
