  • Publication number: 20240063051
Abstract: A substrate support unit including a turntable which is rotatable around a first axis and which is driven by a first drive. A plurality of substrate carrier units are arranged concentric to the first axis on the turntable. Each of the plurality of substrate carrier units includes a substrate carrier which is rotatable around a corresponding second axis and which is driven by a second drive, wherein all second axes are parallel to the first axis.

  • Patent number: 9814113
Abstract: A voltage converter is proposed, for providing a DC voltage (Vout) for operating at least one LED strip (1), wherein the converter is configured to: a) output a DC voltage increasing or decreasing at least once, preferably in a voltage range lying above the flux voltage of the LED strip (1) while measuring the LED current (iL), and b) set the operating point of the DC voltage (Vout) as a function of this measurement.

  • Publication number: 20170108202
Abstract: A method for assembling and contacting an illuminant comprising one light emitting diode, having a support element on which the light emitting diode is arranged having passage openings in the electrical contact region of a cable and preferably in the vicinity of a cable. The method comprises contacting the cable with the support element and applying a hot melt adhesive to the cable and the support element; and thereby mechanically connecting the cable to the support element. The hot melt adhesive is applied to the support element in such a way that the hot melt adhesive fills the passage openings and lies on both sides of the support element.

  • Patent number: 9544970
Abstract: The invention relates to an LED module (1), comprising: connections (2) for an LED array (3); a circuit (4) which is configured to constitute a load, preferably an effective power load, if during a starting phase a constant current or a constant voltage is applied to the LED module (1), and which is configured not to constitute a load when the starting phase has finished, wherein the circuit (4) is designed to constitute a variable-current load which effects a change in the power consumption of the LED module (1) according to at least one predetermined protocol effected.

  • Publication number: 20020003929
Abstract: The optical waveguide coupler comprises a structure (1) of a number of elongated narrow optical waveguide strips (2), which consist respectively of a front area (3), a center area (4) and a coupling area (5). The center area (4) has respective transition areas (6) and (7) to the corresponding area (3) or (5). A gap (9) in the front areas (3) provided between two adjoining strips (2) is larger than the thickness of the narrow strips (2). The front faces (8) of the front areas (3), and the front faces of the coupling areas (5) are embodied to be as smooth as possible, wherein all strips form a stack in the coupling area (5). The gaps are pits which result from etching of an Si substrate with the aid of a DRIE etching process.
