  • Patent number: 11107943
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for transporting an arrangement of flexible circuit substrates produced on a transport substrate during the production of a laminate from the arranged circuit substrates, as well as—building thereon—a method and a device for producing a laminate of flexible circuit substrates. In the method, a film is applied to the arranged circuit substrates on the side thereof opposite the transport substrate, with the result that the film comes to lie over the transport substrate in at least two sections that are separate from each other and are not covered by a circuit substrate, and runs between them continuously over at least one of the circuit substrates.

  • Patent number: 9601651
Abstract: A flexible solar module strand manufactured by a method including providing a first conveyor track for applying flexible solar cells; guiding the first conveyor track around two or more deflecting means; providing individual flexible solar cells; applying the individual solar cells to the first conveyor track; deflecting the first conveyor track by guiding the first conveyor track over a first one of the deflecting means; separating the first conveyor track from the at least one deflected solar cell strip in such a manner that the solar cells are released, with their respective first or second sides facing the first conveyor track, from the first conveyor track; and applying the at least one deflected solar cell strip to a first film web in such a manner that the solar cells are oriented, with their respective first or second sides separated from the first conveyor track, away from the first film web.

  • Publication number: 20130213456
Abstract: A thin film solar module including a first film web, a series of electrically conductive contact pads arranged at intervals on the first film web, where the contact pads each have a first and a second area, and a series of flexible thin film solar cells. The thin film solar cells each include a first side which at least partially forms a first electrically conductive pole, a second side, which at least partially forms a second electrically conductive pole, a photovoltaically active layer composition, and at least one electrical contact located on the layer composition, which contacts the first electrically conductive pole, wherein the electrical conductor extends past a side of the photovoltaically active layered composition.

  • Publication number: 20090217975
Abstract: The invention relates to thin-film solar power modules. The problem associated with known thin-film solar power modules is that the barrier effect of the front film does not prevent moisture from permeating the space between the solar cell and the cover film when exposed to moisture over a longer period of time. In order to solve this problem, the solar module comprises, starting from the solar cell (6), the following layer structure: front: an inorganic barrier layer (2), an inorganic-organic hybrid polymer barrier layer (3), a transparent adhesive layer (4a), a transparent cover film (1b); back: a transparent adhesive layer (4b), a standard backing film (7b).

  • Publication number: 20070084501
Abstract: The invention refers to a non-glass and flexible solar power module and the method for its manufacture where the module is provided with a circumferential and flexible frame having integrated through-wiring and socket parts, which are formed face-side into the frame, for module interconnection by means of plug-in connectors. The solar module is thoroughly and completely sealed off on its rear side and has a full-surface smooth texture which is established by the insertion of a thin flexible panel, preferably made of plastic, together with the laminate into the form for the manufacture of the frame by means of RIM (reaction injection moulding). The modules are mounted on the building, preferably by means of bonding/cementing to practically any random roof materials, as well as to curved surfaces and without a backward cable lead.
