  • Patent number: 11417782
Abstract: The invention relates to a layered structure (1) with semiconducting materials on a support layer (3) comprising at least one planar semiconducting layer (6) and several electrodes, in particular a first (4) and second (5) one. The semiconducting layer (6) has a top (8) and bottom (7) flat face extending essentially parallel and spaced apart from one another by the height of the layer (10). The semiconducting layer (6) is also applied by the bottom flat face (7) to a flat face of the support layer (2) and the two electrodes are connected to the semiconducting layer in an electrically conducting manner. The at least two electrodes are applied by means of a structuring process and are disposed on two oppositely lying faces of the semiconducting layer and/or in planes at least approximately parallel between the two faces.

  • Publication number: 20080031501
Abstract: Described is a fingerprinting device with a translucent top layer (8) which forms a finger rest and between which and a light-emitting layer (9) a layer (1) of light-sensitive elements is provided in a matrix arrangement, and with an evaluation circuit (7) connected to the light-sensitive elements. In order to provide advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that the layer (1) of light-sensitive elements have a translucent, photoactive layer (2) based on organic semiconductors between two translucent electrode layers (3, 4) consisting of intersecting strip conductors (5, 6).

  • Publication number: 20070262244
Abstract: Described is a fingerprinting device (1) with a translucent top layer (7) which forms a finger rest and on the side of which that is remote from the finger rest a layer, connected to an evaluation circuit (10), of light-sensitive elements (9) in a matrix arrangement and light-emitting elements (8) are provided. In order to provide advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that on the side of the top layer (7) that is remote from the finger rest there be arranged a photoactive layer (2) based on organic semiconductors between two electrode layers (3, 4) consisting of intersecting strip conductors (5, 6), of which the strip conductors (5) between the photoactive layer (2) and the top layer (7) are translucent, and that the photoactive layer (2) form the light-sensitive and the light-emitting elements (8, 9) in the region of intersection of the strip conductors (5, 6) of the two electrode layers (3, 4).

  • Patent number: 6715535
Abstract: A method of casting has a mold assembled on a base plate. The finished mold is rotated by approximately 180° around a horizontal rotational axis. A casting container with an upwardly positioned aperture end, removed from the mold, is filled with melt for one casting operation. The casting container is sealingly coupled by the aperture end to the ingate end of the mold. The mold, together with its contacting casting container, is rotated by approximately 180° around a horizontal axis. Accordingly, the melt reaches the mold, and the casting container is removed from the coupled position away from the mold.
