  • Publication number: 20100200483
Abstract: In a rotary brush screen at an overflow sill of a rainwater relief system, comprising screen bars extending transverse to the overflow sill and strippers engaging in the screen bars in a comb-like manner, the strippers are put into a curvilinearly extending, circling movement via a crank drive in accordance with the invention by means of an actuating lever in cooperation with a stationary support bearing, due to which circling movement the strippers are guided from above into the spaces between the screen bars and out again at the bottom of the overflow sill. The risk of the discharge of solids into the waters as a result of a mechanical influence on the solids during the stripping operation is reduced thereby and the operational safety is increased.

  • Publication number: 20090008588
Abstract: The invention relates to a shut-off device for a waste-water inspection chamber which has an upwardly open gutter in its interior with an inlet opening and an outlet opening for the waste-water flow, comprising a shut-off member which is arranged in front of the inlet opening, can be pivoted upwardly through the flow force of the waste-water flow and can be held and released by a magnetic catch, with the magnetic catch tightly holding the shut-off member against the inlet open in the shut-off position and releasing it again on a defined water pressure acting on it in the flow direction for the release of the inlet opening.

  • Patent number: 4702271
Abstract: The invention concerns a float-controlled flow-control devie for the outlet from a sewage system, especially a rain basin. The bearings for the pivots (7 & 8) that the float arm (4) and the shutter (2) rotate on are mounted on a displaceable structure (3). This makes it possible to vary the outflow volume to be controlled even when the device is in operation, and hence to control it remotely as well.
