Abstract: A valve for dispensing moisture reactive liquids is disclosed. The valve has a valve cup for tightly closing a container including a through opening, and a first annular fold forming a groove in a first, inner surface and a rib in a second, outer surface. The valve includes a resilient grommet and a valve stem. The valve stem includes a hollow tubular portion, defining a central bore snugly fitting in the grommet central bore and extending on both sides of the grommet with a first end opening to ambient and a second, opposite end being closed by a circular end base greater than the diameter of the bore of the grommet. The upper surface of the flange portion of the grommet mates with the first, inner surface of the cup including the portion of the grommet mating the groove formed by the fold.

Abstract: A pressurized aerosol container is disclosed. The aerosol container includes a specific valve and a dispensing adapter to be used therewith for dispensing a pressurized liquid contained in the container. The liquid is preferably a moisture reactive composition. The valve has a valve stem provided with a central bore having an internal threaded portion, which allows the fixing and connection of a disposable dispensing adapter and has a connecting end provided with a mating outer threaded portion.

Abstract: A radiant burner (1) which comprises at least one radiant burner plate (2) and at least two layers of radiant screens (3) enclosed by a peripheral band (4) associated with a body (6) defining a premixing chamber for said burner. The peripheral band (4) comprises an upper flange (5). The radiant burner further comprises an insulation (7) lying under and extending downwardly from said upper flange of said peripheral band. The insulation (7) has an internal peripheral structure permitting limited movement of the layers of radiant screens (3). The insulation is a multilayer structure wherein each insulation layer engages and supports at least one screenlayer (3).

Abstract: A radiant burner comprises a body defining a premixing chamber and a combustion chamber. The premixing chamber is separated from the combustion chamber by at least one radiant burner plate (2) which has multiple levels of burner surface. The combustion chamber is further limited by a first radiant screen (4). The radiant burner further comprises a second radiant screen (3) in the combustion chamber. The second radiant screen is spaced from, but near and parallel to the radiant burner plate(s), such that this second radiant screen acts as an extended burner surface and also heats up said at least one radiant burner plate when in use.
