  • Patent number: 10782163
Abstract: An autonomous, low-power turbine flow meter and an assembly of at least one flow meter and at least one signal receiving device configured to receive signals, preferably in a wireless manner, produced and transmitted by the flow meter. The invention further relates to a method for measuring at least one flow characteristic, in particular the flow rate, of a fluid flowing through a flow meter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 31, 2018
Date of Patent: September 22, 2020
    Assignee: KINETRON B.V.
Inventors: Frans Vromans, Geert Maria Van Den Brekel, Joris Paul Lodewijk Jansen, Bernardus Johannes Meijer, Koen Jacob Weijand

  • Publication number: 20160303378
Abstract: A therapy system for applying an electrical signal to an internal anatomical feature of a patient includes an implantable component and an external component. The medical device can be checked for safety issues by periodically initiating a sequence of tests of an H-bridge circuit, and, during each test, monitoring a current flow through a sensing resistor electrically connected between a sensing connection of the H-bridge circuit and a ground. Current flow through the sensing resistor indicates that both series electrical switches within at least one of the two pairs of series electrical switches are active during that test.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 27, 2016
    Publication date: October 20, 2016
Inventors: Al Almendinger, Gregory Pat Spar, Koen Jacob Weijand, Randy Maas, Stephen Ellsworth

  • Patent number: 8140167
Abstract: A therapy system for applying an electrical signal to an internal anatomical feature of a patient includes an implantable component and an external component. The external component can be configured into one of multiple selectable operating modes. The therapy system also may include a first external antenna configured to communicate with the implantable component and a second external antenna configured to communicate with the implantable component. Plugging one of the external antennas into the external component automatically configures the external component into one of the operating modes.
