Publication number: 20210095798Abstract: A pipe joint in which a seal body and a spacer are mounted from the insides of pipes, wherein: a spigot of one pipe is inserted into a socket of the other pipe; and an annular accommodation space is formed between the inner circumference of the socket and the outer circumference of the spigot. Inside the accommodation space are accommodated: a seal body for sealing the gap between the socket and the spigot; a push ring that presses the seal body to keep the seal body in a compressed state; and a spacer that maintains the interval between the push ring and the deep end of the socket in the pipe axial direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2019Publication date: April 1, 2021Applicant: KUBOTA CORPORATIONInventors: Shozo KISHI, Kazuya ITO, Kazuma HARADA, Keita ODA, Ryunosuke TANAKA, Kohei IKEDA, Yuito KOMARU

Publication number: 20210054537Abstract: To provide a thermoforming method for obtaining a thermoformed article that exhibits excellent abrasion resistance at melt-bonded portions, and excellent adhesive strength between woven fabrics or to another kind of article. Polyethylene having a melt flow rate, measured under conditions of a temperature of 280° C. and a load of 2.16 kg, of 10 to 15 g/10 min and polyethylene terephthalate are prepared. By a conjugate melt spinning method using the polyethylene terephthalate as a core component and the polyethylene as a sheath component, multi-filament yarn in which core-sheath composite filaments having a core component:sheath component mass ratio of 1 to 4:1 are bundled is obtained. A product of filaments is obtained by weaving, knitting, braiding or winding using the multi-filament yarn.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2019Publication date: February 25, 2021Inventors: Kohei IKEDA, Mariko HONDA

Patent number: 10808342Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a fishing net formed from a plastic net that can be handled by winding or folding although the net has plastic rigidity. The fishing net is manufactured by (1) a step of preparing a multifilament yarn formed by bundling a plurality of core-sheath type composite filaments, in each of which a core component is made of polyethylene terephthalate and a sheath component is made of polyolefin, (2) a step of preparing a yarn thread obtained by paralleling a plurality of the multifilament yarns, (3) a step of twisting or braiding four yarn threads 11, 12, 13, 14 to obtain a net constructed with strands 1 and intersections 2, (4) a step of heat-treating the net under without pressure to melt the sheath component of the yarn threads 11, 12, 13, 14 constituting the strands 1 and the intersections 2, followed by solidifying, thus obtaining a plastic net, and (5) a step of forming the fishing net using the plastic net.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2018Date of Patent: October 20, 2020Assignee: UNITIKA LTD.Inventors: Hidehito Andoh, Kohei Ikeda

Patent number: 10520119Abstract: An annular sealing material seals a pipe joint between a socket and a spigot. The sealing material includes a bulb part which is composed of a first bulb, a second bulb located closer to the inner side of the socket than the first bulb, and a narrow part present between the first and second bulbs. The first bulb is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the socket. The second bulb is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the spigot. The second bulb is inclined towards the pipe center from the first bulb in a natural state before it is provided between the socket and the spigot. The inner diameter of the second bulb is smaller than the outer diameter of the spigot in the natural state. The second bulb is extensible in the pipe diameter direction due to elastic deformation of the narrow part.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2015Date of Patent: December 31, 2019Assignee: Kubota CorporationInventors: Shozo Kishi, Takashi Yokomizo, Yoshinori Itani, Takaaki Kagawa, Kohei Ikeda, Shogo Kaneko
