  • Patent number: 8542631
Abstract: A base station unit of a communication device generates control information identical with those generated by other communication devices. The control information includes information defining regions in a radio frame that are used by the communication device and the other communication devices to transmit data. A terminal unit receives data in accordance with the control information. A switching unit changes the connection among the base station unit, the terminal unit and an antenna. When the control information is output from the base station unit, a switch controller operates the switching unit so that the base station unit may be connected to the terminal unit to output the control information to the terminal unit.

  • Patent number: 7415003
Abstract: In a communication network managing system, at a network manager, a management section manages QoS (Quality of Service) capability management information from element managers, a request reception section receives a request for a target QoS capability, and a section and notification section selects a candidate subnetwork such as to satisfy the target QoS capability for which the request has been received by the request reception section, and notifies the corresponding element managers of information about the selection. At the individual element manager, based on the selection information from the selection and notification section of the network manager, a control section controls the corresponding subnetwork.

  • Publication number: 20070214267
Abstract: A security server monitoring device is provided that performs quick redistribution of loads when a server load increases due to virus infections. A security server performs a virus check on data flowing through a network, thus statistical data relating to detected viruses can be obtained. For example, future communication traffic and increases and decreases in server loads are predicted using statistical information such as the number of virus infections (number of virus infections per unit of time), and on the basis of this prediction, a security server allocated to a path is quickly changed from a security server in which a high load is predicted to a security server with a comparably low load.

  • Publication number: 20020116487
Abstract: This invention provides a network management system with a route predicted beforehand through which a control IP packet is to be transmitted, and while setting up permission of control in a communication apparatus that checks permission of control, if the control IP packet is to be permitted, when the communication apparatus which received the control IP packet checks the permission of control with the network management system, permission of control is set up in other communication apparatuses on the predicted route over which the control IP packet is to be transmitted. For this reason, the number of checking messages of the control permission from the communication apparatuses which received the control IP packet can be reduced, while the amount of processing, such as a database search in a network management system and updating, can be reduced, and control permission to a control IP packet can be checked speedily.

  • Patent number: 6189025
Abstract: A communication network comprised of communication paths of server layers formed hierarchically by communication paths of client layers, wherein the state of control of the communication paths of a layer being controlled is independently managed in terms of both (i) an administrative state and (ii) a subordinate state indicating influence from communication paths of a server layer, the administrative state of the communication paths of the layer being controlled is changed according to the control for setting and releasing the communication paths, and the subordinate state of the communication paths of a client layer influenced by the change of the administrative state of the communication paths is changed accordingly. At this time, when a subordinate state has already been influenced by a state of control of the communication paths of a server layer, the processing for management is terminated.
